Happy 19th Anniversary Baby

Hey peeps.  Well from the title of my post I guess you can tell it's my anniversary.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years today.  But to be honest with you I have been in love with my husband since the third grade.  I claimed him on the playground to my twin sister.  We have known each other since forever and so has our families. 
 So in honor of my special day I made this card.  I fell in love with this image from Mo's digital pencil.  So elegant and so us.  When we got married he had hair and I had smaller hips.  And after 19 years, he no longer has hair and I have bigger hips.  LOL 

To my husband, thank you for spending the last 19 years with me.  I pray by the grace of our almighty God that he will bless us with 19 more.  I love you babes.

FS277 Challenge

Hey peeps.  Hope everyone is having a blessed weekend.  The sun is shining bright here in GA and it's way too hot.  I'm scared to think of what the summer will bring. 

Anyway, I'm in my stamp room creating a card for the Splitcoaststampers challenge.  A big congrats to Susan Bridgman on being selected as the featured stamper this week.  What a fabulous gallery she has.  I thought I would case a winter card she had in her gallery.  I've had this image stamped and colored for well over three years now.  And it was an almost perfect match to her card.  Super fast to pull together.

SCS Challenge

Okay it's the wee hours of the morning and I can't sleep.  So what's a girl to do....STAMP!!  Well if I have to be up its' best to be in the room I love the most in my house.  LOL  I went ahead and made a card for today's Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge.  Thanks Holly for the great layout.  I've had this Saturated Canary image called Stroppy Beth.  I love, love, love these images from Saturated Canary.  So much fun to color.

Well, I'm off to try to get some sleep.  I'll be counting Copics to dreamland.

Final Paper Sundaes Challenge with a Mojo Monday Twist

Hey peeps.  It saddens me to say that this will be the last challenge for Paper Sundaes.  I have enjoyed so many challenges with the ladies there and I hate to see it end.  I wish both of you a world of excitement and adventure.  So in honor of their last challenge Pretty in Pink here is my card.

With that being said I thought I would go back to my "roots" and start stamping without coloring.  I know....so hard when you love your Copics.  Also going back to my roots.  When I first started blogging I used to participate ALOT in the Mojo Monday challenges.  I loved to see all the inspiration that the ladies had up their sleeves.  So I'm entering my card into that challenge as well today.  I love this simple and cute layout.  I can mass produce this one for sure.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge #68

Hey peeps.  So glad to see ya back.  Another fun challenge coming your way from Party Time Tuesdays.  This week's challenge is to use the colors on purple on your card.  Since I had a boy image I used a very deep purple to keep the card from looking too girlie.  Can't put on a whole bunch of sparkle on a soccer guy.  LOL  This week's image is from Kenny K and they are also one of our sponsors this week.  As you already know I'm a huge fan of Kenny K images.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge

Morning peeps.  Hope you are having a great day.  Well today it's time for another Party Time Tuesdays Challenge.  This week's challenge is to make a card for Mother's Day.  Yep, it's this coming Sunday and we all know how great Mom's are.  Including me because I do believe I'm a great mom if I say so myself.  LOL

Copic Coloring Combo

Hey peeps.  Have a little something different for you today.  I'm in the mist of building up a small portfolio of images that I color and I thought I would share some with you throughout the year.  I am a little crazy when it comes to remembering color combos I like so I write down and make little color swatches to try and remember. 

Anyway, this adorable image called Bart's BBQ is by Whimsy Stamps.  Most of the time I color on Copic X-press It Blending paper.  I find that I can get the colors to work much better on this paper.  As you can see I've written down the Copics that I used so know I don't have to remember.  Now he's going into the book for future reference.

Happy Birthday Suzanne Dean

The Color Me Creative Design Team has a secret!!!  Today we are hopping along to wish our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean, a VERY happy birthday!!!  Suzanne is the owner/creator of the Color Me Creative site and, as many of you know, teaches her Copic classes online and on the road!  She is one busy momma and we thought we'd take time to wish her a happy day and hope she gets to sit with her Cherry Coke and donuts (ya, a fav combination of hers!) and relax a bit today and enjoy the hop!

Each of us decided it would be fun to remember Suzanne today in "typical Suzanne" style!  Our creations will either help remember a "funny travel moment" with Suzanne or... share a secret about Suzanne.  Ha!!!  Bet she didn't see this coming!!! LOL

Tiddly Ink and SCS

Morning peeps.  It's hump day baby.  I'm in my stamp room just coloring away today.  As most of you know, I color almost constantly and match the images to paper.  This makes it so much easier to participate in challenges.  I just grab my folder and pick out an image and before you know it a card as come together in minutes.  You should try it.

So today's card layout is from this week's SCS sketch layout. and I'm participating in this week's challenge at Tiddly Inks (a million ways to say thank you).  The image is named Wryn Cowgirl.  I am a huge fan of Christy's images.  They are super adorable and so great to color.  I used the following Copics markers to color up this cute cowgirl: E50, E51, E53, E93, E55, E57, E47, E71, E77, R27, R29, Y26, Y28.  The paper came from the following paper packs: Miss Caroline, Fiddlesticks, Miss Caroline Dolled Up and My Mind's Eye Everyday Flair.  I always use Copic X-press Blend It paper for my coloring.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up Artfully Asian.

Party TIme Tuesday Challenge #66

Morning everyone.  Hope your day is starting off great.  It's Tuesday again and Party Time Tuesdays has another challenge for you.  I know there are TONS and I do mean TONS of you that are ribbon hoarders like myself. ;-)  It's okay, admit it.  I see ribbon and I go crazy with all the colors and prints.  Then it all sits in a drawer waiting for the "right" card to use it on.  Well, thank goodness this weeks challenge is to use two kinds of ribbon on your card.  That was easy for me.  LOL  This week's sponsors is Fantastic Ribbons.  Go figure!! :-)  And man do they have a huge selection of great ribbon to buy.  This adorable little princess is from Little Honey Princess Ariel.  Isn't she cute!
