Please Be My Valentine

Hey peeps.  Back with a another Valentine's Day card.  I just fell in LOVE with this image called Please by Mo's Digital Pencil.  She's is just wishing for someone to be her Valentine.  LOL  Too sweet!!  The entire card is made with scrap paper and ribbons.  Gotta love that!!  I hate throwing away my scraps. :-) My card is heading over to the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil - Lace and/or Ribbon

Hey peeps I'm back again with another card.  I had sooo many challenges I wanted to jump into this week so I managed to work this card into four challenges. GO DANA!!  Anyway, I love this image called Faythe Flies from Tiddly Inks.  Love her hair because it reminds me of my cousin when she was small with her little pom-pom hair do.  She's precious!!

Tasty Tuesday - Your Next Stamp

Hey peeps.  So glad you are here today.  Karen over at Your Next Stamp has started a monthly Tasty Tuesday challenge.  The challenge will come from an inspiration photo from Pinterest!  And I know you have to be hooked on Pinterest like I am.  I'm a straight up junky!!  LOL  Anyway, this month's inspiration came from this photo. Oh my goodness...can you say YUMMY?!?!

 

Well here is my card:

I love all the happy colors in the inspiration cookies.  I used the Poppy The Groundhog stamp set.  And it's the perfect time to pick this one up since it's 50% off right now.  I had some old The Angel Company paper packs and this one is called Tutti Frutti which was PERFECT for this month's theme.  Make sure to head on over to the YNS blog and follow us on Pinterest and Facebook!!

Tiddly Inks and Featured Stamper

Okay peeps...one more card before I hit the bed.  I'm entering my card into the Tiddly Inks Challenge and in the Featured Stamper challenge over at SCS.

I love this Wryn image.  So super fun to color and the layout cased from Bonnie's gallery was perfect.  I used Basic Grey Lemonade Collection Pack and Bazzill paper.  Image is colored on Copic Xpress-It Blending paper. I used iridescent blue chalk to go around the image.  Added a touch of glitter to her wings and flower on her shoe.

A Card for An Angel

Hey peeps.  I have a special card for you today.  One of the teachers at my son's school (I'll call her Ms. F to keep her identity) is a true angel.  She has always been there for my son and so many other students during her time as a teacher in our community.  She constantly gives her all to the children and they think of her as a second Mom.  A few weeks ago, Ms. F and her family were the victims of a heinous crime while at home.  This is the place you are suppose to feel your safest.  The cowards that commented this crime are truly not God fearing individuals with only destruction and violence in their hearts and minds.  I am truly saddened that such a wonderful human spirit had to experience such pain.  So I made this card for Ms. F along with adding a gift card to help her and her family during this time.  Ms. F please know that the Joy family loves you and pray that in time God will restore to you and your boys the sense of being safe in your own home.

Sweet Sunday and Tiddly Inks

Oh I'm in the mood for LOVE!!  Okay not really just in my card making. ;-)  In my stamproom getting in the Valentine's Day mood.  Here's a card I'm entering into the Tiddly Inks  Sweet Sunday Sketch, The Pink Elephant and 52 Card Pick Up challenges.  I am in love with this sketch.  You will be seeing it again this week. I finally broke down and purchased a Janome sewing machine.  And yup...I'm hooked already.  I used to sew when I was in my 20's but gave it up for other crafts.  It was like riding a bike.  So easy and man does it look fabulous on card.

Anyway as you already know, I'm a HUGE fan of Tiddly Inks images and Wryn and Mo are just too sweet!!  It was perfect for the sketch as a showcase image.

Favorite Color Combo at Color Me Creative

Hey peeps.  Are you up for another challenge.  Over at CMC it's time to show us your favorite color combo?  Brown and pink has been one of my favorite color combos for years now.  I love the richness of the two colors together.  I'm featuring the adorable image from Paper Makeup Stamps.  This is me...still working on that 2013 body transformation.  Trying to keep my chin up and my mouth closed!! ;-)  I swear them damn finger nut cookies are the devil.  They are like little sheep dancing in my dreams.  Bad cookies, bad cookies!!

Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp

Morning peeps.  Happy Friday.  I'm so ready for the weekend.  My card in honor of Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp is featuring the ever adorable Love Is In The Air stamp set. I love these adorable giraffes.  I paired it with paper from Recollections With Love paper back, Bazzill Pomegranate Splash and Kraft cardstock.  The ribbon and sentiment is from Stampin' Up. And I used an embossing plate for my background hearts. The image of course is colored with my Copic makers.

Hey peeps.  I'm back in my stamp room.  Trying to stay ahead of my Valentine's Day cards this year. Not that I give out many but I might give some to my coworkers for them to give to their families.  I joined in on the fun at SCS with the Featured Stampers challenge this week.  A huge congrats to Janelle for being chosen this week.

Janelle's gallery has sooo many amazing cards to pick from.  I would of spent hours looking at her creations.  I finally pulled myself away and got busy on my card.  So what do you think?  And not a lick of Copic markers used.  YIKES!!

Color Me Pastel - CMC

Hey peeps.  Okay my card for the new challenge over at Color Me Creative is definitely fitting for this time of year.  I AGAIN will be making the pledge to lose weight this year.  I start off rather well but then all it takes is one martini and NY style cheesecake and I'm done!  LOL  This adorable image is from Paper Makeup and I'm going to look just like her when I jump on my scale tomorrow.  Sigh...the scale is never in my favor.

Anyway, enough about me weight issues. :-)  I hope you will join us and start off the year with some creative juices.  I'm looking forward to some amazing opportunities in 2013 and so should you.  Let's make it our crafting best this year.  I'm heading back into my stamp room to start making some room for new stuff.  You never know what I might be giving away soon!!

Saturated Canary Challenge #33

Happy New Year peeps!!!  I hope everyone brought in the new year safely.  I had a chance to bring in 2013 with my loving husband, two amazing kids and one boyfriend.  LOL  My kids are old enough to be out hanging with their friends but they decided to spend New Year's eve with their old mommy and daddy.  Just the way I like it. :-) 

Anyway, I'm back in my stamp room and wanted to start the new year off with some sparkle.  I decided to join in on the fun over at Saturated Canary.  The color inspiration this week was beautiful.  I colored up their Blanche image with my Copic markers and matched her up with this gorgeous paper I found at Hobby Lobby.  Oh I'm in sparkle heaven with this paper.  I'm going to work on my body looking like this in 2013 too.  A girl has to have a goal right? 

I hope 2013 brings everyone many blessings, great health and many stamps.
