Monsterific

Hey peeps.  Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.  I had a chance to color up some images with my Copic markers so you know this girl was in HEAVEN!  This adorable image from Simply Betty Stamps was so much fun to color.  Betty had a challenge going on to use this image with Halloween colors.  Yes, that's right...Halloween in July.  If we can have Christmas in July, we can have Halloween in July. Okay, enough said.

I had some fabulous paper from an older Doodlebug paper pack I purchased last year.  I think it is one of my favorites.  So I matched my paper to my image and started coloring.  I had the perfect colored enamel dots too.  I love when a card comes together.

I wanted to have a little bit of fun with this image so I printed it out twice and cut out the head and boots and stacked them with pop up dots.

Thanks for swinging by today.  I have done of organization projects going on in my stamp room so I better get back at it.  I'll post some of my tips later on.

Hugs and love~

I'll Follow You...

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone is having a fantastic week.  Friday is almost here just hold on a little bit longer.  I know...why can't everyday be Friday?

I'm back in my stamp room making some cards.  I just received some new products in the mail that I couldn't wait to ink up.  This stamp set has been on my "list" for a few weeks and I finally got it!  Yay...I could just kiss the UPS guy!  He's a rockstar.  LOL

While I was just making the card to have some fun, I also decided to join in on the anything goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.  I made a card earlier this week and totally forgot to add it to the link.  But NOT this time...I'm fully awake and on it!  LOL

Okay peeps, heading back in my stamp room to inventory my new items.  Yes, I did say inventory.  I know, I'm a little obsessed with having things orderly in my room.  ;-)

Hugs and love~

Patriotic Stars SC494

Hey peeps.  Happy Wednesday to all of you.  I'm in a very patriotic mood this week.  With the 4th of July right around the corner and all the fireworks that will be going on, I'm a little bit excited.  So for my card today, I thought I would use some patricotic paper and some fabulous stars.

The card is made using the new sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  I have to say this might be my favorite sketch so far.  Janette has such a way of creating some amazing sketches for us to use.  I hope you take a moment to join in on the fun.  I love seeing what everyone creates each week.

Gotta run, as I have a TON of stuff to get done.  I still need to edit a video I hope to show you later in the week.  Have a great day everyone.

Hugs and love~

**** Some of the ink pads used on this card are no longer available from Stamping Up. I have substituted the red and blue ink pads with ones you can still purchase from Stamping Up.

Colorful Friend

Hey peeps.  Well it's another night of no sleep so I climbed out of bed and headed to my stamp room to make a card.  Why just lay there while I could be creative? :-)  I sat down at my computer and started browsing some of my favorite places.  Since I couldn't sleep, I joined in on the fun over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.  This challenge was right up my alley as I believe you can't go through like without having some amazing friends.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots stencil and some distressed ink to make a colorful background.  I used the Papertrey Ink Phrase Play #1 Die to embed the sentiment into my polka dot paper.  I didn't want to cut it totally out since I love the way it looked.  Next I removed the bottom portion and stamped the true friend sentiment from the Hello You stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I then heat embossed it with Liquid Platinum embossing powder and placed it back on my card.

Here is a closeup of the card.  Oh I forgot that I added just a touch of  clear Wink of Stella to the words.  Well that completes my card for today or should I say this morning?  LOL  Thanks for stopping by everyone.  I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday.

Hugs and love~
