You Little Rascals

Sup peeps!  LOL Don't you just love this sentiment from Paper Smooches?  Okay, I'll stop now.  Hey my little peeps.  I'm back today with a funny card for you.  This image from CC Designs called Roberto's Rascals Funny Faces just cracks me up!  I LOVE this adorable stamp.  I had the best time coloring this little rascals.  I matched them up with some Doodlebug Designs Take Note paper.  Since I knew I wanted to give them some bright colors I had to make sure the paper had funky fun colors as well.

SC499 - Jewel Tone Chevron Card

Hey peeps.  Is everyone having a great day?  There's a new sketch up over at Splitcoaststampers AND a new video up on my Youtube Channel.  I wanted to share with all of you how I made this card.  You don't have to have tons of paper and tons of ink pads to get a remarkable card.

Sea Ya Soon - Some Odd Girl Style

Hey peeps.  Happy Tuesday to everyone.  So you know what day it is right?  Of course you do.  It's digital release day at Some Odd Girl.  Here is Harold my new Jelly Fish.  Yup, I'm naming all my images now.  He's swimming by on my card today.  You know it's all about the beach and the waves.  So I had to break out stencil so Jelly Fish here had somewhere to hang out.  I layered the card base with a piece of vellum and stamped the sea ya soon in white embossing powder.  I had those lovely blue gems in my embellishment stash.  The hide the glue I needed to hold down my vellum.  Tricky, tricky, tricky! :-) Head on over to the SOG Shop and pick up your jelly fish to name.

Gotta run as I have a ton of things to get done today.  Sea Ya Soon.

Hugs and love~

Floating On A Cloud

Hey peeps.  Welcome back.  Well my plans didn't go well for a weekend family get-away but not sad faces here.  I just know when we do get away in a a few weeks it will be well worth the delay.
Since I had a few days to unplug, I got to coloring up some images for a few challenges I wanted to join in on.  As you all know, I LOVE my Copic markers.  So when stress comes along, I just start coloring.  It really does help to calm the nerves.  LOL  So I colored up this adorable little angel from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Since the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil is Wings and Things, I was right on target to get a card done.

Oh BABY!!!

Hey peeps.  Well my unplugging for the weekend was a bust.  But at least I got to relax for the day.  I'm starting to feel like this must be the time for babies.  LOL  I have gotten several requests to make baby paint cans recently.  I love making this specialized cans for new Moms-To-Be.  I get to fill them up with all kinds of goodies for the baby.  Plus I'm a sucker for a cute and unique gift idea.

Created With Love

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday everyone.  It's time for me to unplug for the weekend.  The family is heading to Florida to hang out with one of my best friends.  We always have such a great time spending time with him and his family.  And it's time for me to get my summer tan.  LOL  So before I unplug, I have one last card for you.  I joined in over at Mama Elephant, Little Tangles and The Card Concept challenges before I closed my stamp room door.  I decided to go with a clean and simple card.

I wish everyone a happy and SAFE weekend.  Make time this weekend to enjoy the simple things in life.  Time goes too fast not to.

SCS498 - May Flowers

Hey peeps.  How's everyone doing today?  I'm back with a card using the new sketch that's up at Splitcoaststampers.  I had sooo much fun coloring up this image from Simply B stamps called May Flowers. I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  And the sketch that Janette had us working with this week made a perfect layout for my image.  Ahhh...so HAPPY!  I used an older Angel Company paper back for this image since it had all the colored I needed.  I had colored this image prior to picking paper which I rarely do.  I would of been upset if I didn't have paper to match.  Yes, I'm anal like that.  LOL

Oh before I forget.  Since the Curtain Call challenge is an anything goes (my favorite) I'm going to pop this card over on their challenge blog.  I hope everyone has a fantastic day.  Go out and make it BEAUTIFUL!

Some Odd Girl Release - Welcome Moving Kaylee and Party Pig

Hey peeps.  Today there's a new release going on over at Some Odd Girl.  Let me introduce you to Moving Kaylee.  I LOVE this image sooo much.  My daughter will be moving out soon and I knew that I wanted to make a card with this image for her.  I've colored this image five times already.  Need to have them ready for our military families that move frequently.  But what, there's more.

Allow Faith To Be Your Guide

Hey peeps.  Wow has it been a busy morning.  Finally had a moment to relax and get my card loaded for the Neat And Tangled challenge.  Between running around with my daughter this morning and trying to get organized in my stamp room I'm tired.  I have been a creative soul lately so my room looked like a bomb went off.

The Card Concept Challenge #14

Hey peeps.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  I wanted to join the challenge over at The Card Concept.  This is my all time FAVORITE color combo.  You just can't go wrong with it in my opinion.  LOL  I've been on a stenciling kick lately.  I just love the versatility you have with them.  I pulled out my distress inks on this one along with some embossing powder and paste.  Even added a little bit of superfine glitter over the embossing paste.  Just couldn't make the card without a little bit of sparkle.

I'm headed back into the kitchen to finish my daughter's birthday cake.  I made a cake from scratch. This is the first one sooo we will see how it turns out.  I'm sure I can hide any flaws in frosting. :-)  Have a great week peeps.

Hugs and love~

Seeing Spots - Stenciling with Spackling

Hey peeps.  How's your weekend going?  Mine is off to a great start.  I'm in my stamp room creating so what in the world could be better.  I've been playing around with my stencils and some lightweight spackling.  I wanted to see if it would work just as well as embossing paste.  And what do ya know...it DOES.  I even added some color and viola, instant happiness.

Check out my video so you can see how easy it was to create the cool effects on my card.  I'm also going to enter my card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge as well as the Naughty or Nice Challenge.

Hugs and love~
