Technique Tuesday - Sneak Peek Day 2

Hey peeps.  It's Technique Tuesday sneak peek day 2.  Oh we are getting closer and closer to release day.  For today's card I'm sharing the Sweet Summer Time stamp and coordinating dies.  As you can see I'm LOVING all the fruit inspired stamps that Technique Tuesday has to offer this month.


This stamp set is just perfect with all it's adorable sentiments and images.  I colored up a few of my pieces of fruit with Copic markers and die cut them out.  Next I sponged a stitched circle with distress inks so I fruit had a nice backdrop to pop against.  I placed these pieces on a white cards base and set them aside.

For my sentiment, I deiced to heat emboss it with white embossing powder and use the Sweet Word crafting die with pink card stock to add a nice bright pop of color to my card.  I finished everything off with just a few iridescent gems.
