Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and a GIVEAWAY

Hey peeps and happy Friday.  I'm so excited to be playing again in the Fall Coffee Lover's blog hop.  I love, love love this amazing coffee inspired hop and all the creative coffee loving (and other hot beverage) participants that play along.  If you're new to the hop, you can swing by the Coffee Lover's blog for all the details.

For my card today, I kept it really clean and simple.  I used the mini cafe latte stencil from The Crafter's Workshop and vintage photo distress ink to stencil a really cool background on some Neenah solar white 80 lb cardstock.  Next I used my stitched border die to cut it out.  To keep my image safe from any smearing, I put on a coat of distress micro glaze.  This stuff is amazing!!  I decided to use a piece of hot fudge paper from MFT and my Perfect Layers rulers to make a nice and neat boarder for my stenciled piece of cardstock.

I stamped the mini coffee tree from the newly released Perfect Blend stamp set from SugarPea Designs in tea dye distress ink on a piece of Neenah solar white 80 lb cardstock and then stamped one of the sentiments over it in hot fudge ink from MFT.  I die cut this out with the double stitched square stax from MFT also. I layered everything on Neenah solar white 110 lb card base. I have listed a product list below. (Some items were no longer available or out of stock. I really love how this background turned out. Using the distress ink kept my background really soft and once you put the distress micro glaze on, it actually softens it up just a little it more.  I'm also going to enter my card into the Wednesday clean and simple challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hey hey peeps.  Happy Friday!!  Today is the first day of the fall coffee lovers blog hop.  The hop will run from September 23 until September 30.  There are over 60 sponsors for the hop so there are plenty of prizes up for grab.

Let me show you my card. I use the adorable Rice Rice bay penguin from SugarPea Designs.  When I stamped him I carefully did not stamp the chopsticks and sushi pieces.  I paper pieced his clothing with Lawn Fawn Fall plaid paper and placed a hand drawn coffee cup on his tray.  Yup he's serving up my coffee this morning.  The sentiment is from the Espresso Yourself stamp set also from SugarPea Designs.

National Coffee Day

Hey hey peeps.  It's National Coffee Day.  I'm a lover of coffee.  One large Dunkin Donuts extra cream and sugar please.  Or if I'm at Starbucks one grande white chocolate mocha with a splash of vanilla.  Oh yes baby it's one!  In honor of National Coffee Day here's a cute little card I made using stamps from MFT and The Ton.

Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop

Hey peeps it's time for another fabulous blog hop.  A few months ago the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook page held a blog hop  It was so fantastic, we have chosen to do it again. Here is the link to the start of the blog hop.

Now to my first card for this hop.  Of course it must be coffee related.  I used a newer stamp set from Fiskars called Latte Love.  A little watercoloring and this card was done.

I matched my coffee with some fall paper from Recollections.  Nice and simple card to start the hop.  I'll be back soon with more coffee love!
