Perfect Paper Crafting and Sugarpea Designs Blog Hop

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone is having a great day.  Perfect Paper Crafting and Sugarpea Designs have teamed up to have a fabulous blog hop this week.  So sit back and grab your favorite beverage.  It's going to be a great hop.

If you are just starting you don't want to miss anything so head back to the beginning of the hop to catch all the fantastic creations we have to show you.  If you are already on your way, you should of arrived here from Kat's blog.

My card is featuring the adorable set from Sugarpea Designs called Tin Can Chat.  Aren't these girls just too cute?!  Now here is where the fun begins as you start to pick your paper and layer your images.  I used the Perfect Layers Mini Tool and the Perfect Cutting Mat to created this multiple layered background.  With this tool it is super easy to have perfect layers with no measuring.  Now that's what I call a "perfect" tool.

SugarPea Designs is giving away a $25 gift certificate to their new on-line store to one lucky winner.  Also to celebrate our very first Perfect Paper Crafting Brand Ambassador blog hop, Perfect Paper Crafting will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to our on line store. All you have to do is visit all of the participating blogs and leave a comment on every single one. We will announce the winner Sunday, April 6. I hope you enjoy!

Now it's time to hop on over to Kristie's blog to see what she has come up with.  Happy hopping everyone.  Good luck on winning!

Hugs and love~

I'm With Genius!

Whew, hey peeps.  FINALLY had a chance to get in my stamp room and crank out a card.  Wanted to join in on the fun over at Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper challenge.  So glad I did.  The featured stamper for today was Kathleen Curry.  Man, her gallery is FULL of amazing cards.  Super talented lady.

I had this little guy from Tiddly Inks in my colored image bin so this card was made in under 10 minutes.  I used my Perfect Layers tool so the matting was quick and super easy. This is the best tool in my stamp room thus far.  Makes my life soooo much easier.

Well thanks for stopping by today.  I'm having my tooth pulled tomorrow so I better go eat some ice cream, something full of chocolate or gummy bears before I end it for the night.  And that's why I'm getting my tooth pulled.  Can't stay way from the damn sweets.  :-)

Open My Heart

Hey peeps.  Slowly coming to an end with my Valentine's Day cards.  I have one or two more to show you and it's over for 2014.  Today's card was made with the newly released Transform-able Heart Full Of Love die-namic from My Favorite Things.  I have to say I'm in love with the versatility of this die.  Today I cut the solid heart on Martha Stewart Valentine designer paper.  Love this double sided paper.  Then I cut the inner heart on Neenah white paper and then again on Bazzill light pink paper.  I gently cut the love sentiment from the pink paper and adhered it to the white heart.  This way my heart was two toned.  I then ran some kraft paper through my Cuttlebug with my Sizzix Jar Label background embossing folder.  Matted all my layers using the Perfect Layers tool and I was done.  But then I needed to add a little umph to my card so I grab a Recollections Valentine clothespin and some Recollections enamel dots to finish it all off.

Well, hope you enjoyed the preview of my Valentine's day card.  I'm about to take a nap.  Creating today has worn me out.

Hugs and love~

Run JENN Run!

Hey peeps.  A small break from V-day cards to make a quick card for my friend Jenn.  You see Jenn is a runner and when I saw this image I knew I had to make her a card.  I have always wanted to be a runner.  Ya know, get into that zone and run with the wind.  Yup, not me.  I run towards the wind and it chokes the hell out of me.  I'm so "winded" in the end, it feels like my chest is about to cave in.  So Jenn, you are my inspiration for one day I will "get in the zone".

A little bit of more exciting news.  I am now an ambassador for Perfect Paper Crafting. I used the amazing Perfect Layers Deluxe tool to mat my card stock today.  It's super easy as you no longer have to measure to get the perfect mat for your project.  Just pick the size on the ruler, lay it next to your photo or scrap paper and cut with an craft knife.  Super easy.  You get three rulers in the set for up to 10 different measurements.  But wait, theres more.  If you purchase this remarkable tool and mention the code DANA5% at checkout, you will receive 5% off your order.  Now tell me you love saving MONEY!

Now this little gem of a card is heading over to the Some Odd Girl Challenge.  Thought I would sneak one more card in before the challenge closed.  The image is from Some Odd Girl.  The tags were cut with my Silhouette.  The paper is from the My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing paper pack. And there you have it.

Thanks for swinging by today.  Now back to card making for me.

Hugs and love~
