Bring on the Glitter and Glam!!

Hey peeps.  Let's start the day off with a selfie.  LOL  How was everyone's Halloween?  We didn't seem to have as many kids as we usually do so we have TONS of candy left over.  And I MUST get it out of the house.  I really need to stop buying my favorite candy so when there is some left over I'm not diving in head first. 

Drinks Anyone?

Hey peeps.  Is it thirsty Thursday yet?  I'm already in need of a drink and it's only Monday.  I had to have a tooth pulled this morning and boy am I feeling that pain now. But nothing really can compare to the pain I was having before it was pulled.  When you have a tooth ache, I swear you just can't think straight.

Anyway, enough about my tooth drama.  I'm excited to say that I'm trying out for the Some Odd Girl design team.  Yup, thought I would try my luck and see what happens.  I really enjoy coloring images from SOG and have been a fan for awhile now.  This image of course is from SOG and it's called Cheers Kaylee.  Yup, you see that fruity drink of hers?  Need one right now!  I colored her with Copic markers and die cut a circle around her.  I didn't like the stark white so I used some SU ink and sponged around her.  The paper is from an old SU pack called Summer Flamingo. I participated in the SOG challenge too by misting the tag with my Heidi Swaps stencil and color shine.  I also misted the background paper as well.

I'm also going to join in on the fun over at Sweet Sunday Sketch and 613 Avenue Create challenges. I'm off to take some more meds for the aching that is going on and probably search for some new card inspiration online.  Wish me luck everyone.

Sweet Sunday and Tiddly Inks

Oh I'm in the mood for LOVE!!  Okay not really just in my card making. ;-)  In my stamproom getting in the Valentine's Day mood.  Here's a card I'm entering into the Tiddly Inks  Sweet Sunday Sketch, The Pink Elephant and 52 Card Pick Up challenges.  I am in love with this sketch.  You will be seeing it again this week. I finally broke down and purchased a Janome sewing machine.  And yup...I'm hooked already.  I used to sew when I was in my 20's but gave it up for other crafts.  It was like riding a bike.  So easy and man does it look fabulous on card.

Anyway as you already know, I'm a HUGE fan of Tiddly Inks images and Wryn and Mo are just too sweet!!  It was perfect for the sketch as a showcase image.

Sweet Sunday Sketch

Hey peeps.  Hope everyone has had great Thanksgiving weekend.  I'm back in my stamproom in a tizzy trying to get all my Christmas cards done.  The first one I'm showing you is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  This was perfect for making a quick and cute holiday card.  Used my SU ornament punch, Cuttlebug embossing plate, MFT Fish tail banner and viola one card down.











Then I cam across this card on Pinterest from Creative Inspirations and thought....I need to make that card but with the supplies I have on hand.

After a few go arounds with sentiments stamps this is what I came up with.  Still liking the card I cased.  Might have to make another purchase from My Favorite Things.  ;-)

Well off to create some more cards.  Can't have too many holiday cards.
