Baby It's Cold Outside - Tutorial

Oh baby it's cold outside!!  Even here in Florida its dropped into the 30's. There are even parts of Florida that got SNOW!!  Yikes that's like crazy.  So with all this winter weather I decided to make a winter themed card.

To create this card I used a really pretty snow flurries stencil from The Crafter's Workshop and some pretty snow glitter embossing paste from Aleene's.  I kept the card really clean and simple and used just a simple sentiment and a few sparkly gems.

Here's a quick tutorial on how this card came together.  You can watch it here or on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've link all the products I used for the card below using affiliate links at no cost to you.

Have a great weekend everyone.  Stay WARM and SAFE.  See you back here soon.

Happy Friday Peeps

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday.  I'm FINALLY getting settled in.  Working on getting my craftroom all together.  Hopefully I will finish up in a week or so and I'll be back full time having fun.  YAY!!  Here is a quick card I had a chance to make.  Gotta take a craft break every few days during a move! I made this card for my daughter.  I'll be following her out to Arizona for a few days to get her settled in her new place.  Yup that's what this Mommy does.  I'm gonna have some serious frequent flyer miles with her being this far away from me.  I just hope I can help her make her new place feel like home.

I used the Lawn Fawn #Awesome stamp set for my sentiment with the little birdie and the city stencil is from The Crafter's Workshop called Urban Landscape.  I really like this simplicity of this card.  I hope she likes it too.  I'm going to enter my card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.  Well, back to work I go.  I'll see ya back here real soon.

Go forth and be crafty

I NEED COFFEE!!

Hey peeps.  Sneaking in a card today.  I am so tired of seeing boxes, moving vans and state lines.  We are almost to the finish line with our relocation.  Thank you Jesus because I'm so over it.  I did have a chance to sneak in my new craft room before we left to finish packing out our home.  This has been me the past two weeks.  I NEED COFFEE!!!

I would love if I could get my coffee in rainbow colors.  LOL  Wouldn't that be too cool? The stencil is from The Crafter's Workshop Stencil Cafe Latte.  The sentiments are from the the Sweet Shop called Coffee Town.  For the ink I used a variety of distress inks.

Gotta run again.  Moving things around for the painters to come in and paint.  I can't wait to get back to Florida and finish up the most important room in the house...MY STAMP ROOM.  :-) I'm joining in on the Inspiration Destination and Sugar and Betty's Challenge blogs

Go forth and be crafty~

Make it POP!!

Happy Friday peeps.  I had another one of those sleepless night.  Ugh...they are killin me.  But I have found that during this wee hour in the morning I get creative.  LOL  Even made a video to go along with today's card.  On one of my trip to Hobby Lobby I came across this mask from The Crafter's Workshop.  I though to myself "hum...that can make and interesting card."  So into the buggy it went and lookie, lookie!!  It make a fabulous card.  I used three colors of Adirondack ink and used my blending tool to get this graphic background.  Oh do I have sun making this card.

Next I used the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Balloons stamp set along with the matching Balloons dies.  A perfect companion for this bright background.  See that pink enamel dot?  Yup, I made that too.  I'll post next week how you can make these dots for pennies.

Gotta run as I'm going to enter the DT call over at The Crafter's Workshop.  But before you go, take some time to watch my video.  I'm sure you will love how easy this card comes together.

 Hugs and love
