My Creative Scoop DT Post

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday. Sadly today is my last post for my current design team term with My Creative Scoop.  I have enjoyed my time with all the talented ladies and Mindy.  It has been so much fun learning new techniques from Mindy's awesome classes.

For my last post I wanted to show you two of the images you will receive in the princess coloring class.  I have mentioned during my posts that you get a no-line (or gray scale) image and a black lined image.  Since these images are digital you can make them as small or as large as you like.  These images are so beautiful to color and make an AMAZING card front as you can see here.

Each class is broken down in sections so it's really easy to follow along.  The first card here is the black lined image.  When I say black lined you will see the lines of the image as if it was stamped out with ink.  Where you can just "color" in the lines.

No-line or gray scale coloring let's you "trace" the lines with your Copic marker so it looks like you drew the image yourself.  As you can see here there are no harsh black lines on this image.  This results in a softer looking colored image.

If you are looking for some great Copic coloring classes you MUST check out Mindy's classes. She also has a FREE 3-Day Beginners Online E-Course. Make sure to check it out.  Have a great day everyone.  See ya back here soon!!

My Creative Scoop - Ariel The Mermaid Copic Coloring

Hey peeps!  Happy Friday.  I've been coloring away in with my Copic markers.  I just finished up my princess class over at My Creative Scoop.  Squeal I'm loving the results from this class and I'm back in my happy place with my Copic markers.

In the class you are going to learn not only how to color the image but also how to create the background as well.  Even those cute little water bubbles.  Swoon!!!  Mindy has a great supply list for each part of the class.  The sentiment and the starfish are not part of the class.  I used a different stamp set for these.  I added just a little bit of nuvo morning dew crystal drops to each bubble and a touch of sparkle pen to the mermaid's tail and shells.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.  I'll see ya back here soon!

My Creative Scoop - Snow White

Hey peeps.  Happy Sunday.  Sorry for the delay on posting last week.  I wasn't feeling well most of the week so I was a little slow at posting.  I'm happy to be back today sharing with you a card featuring an image from the My Creative Scoop Princess Coloring Class.  I'm so excited to be taking this class.  Mindy does a fabulous job sharing her technique on coloring with Copics and how to make this amazing background as well.

In the course you will receive a no-line image and a black line image to practice your coloring.  This one here is the no-line image.  I really LOVE how this card came out.  Here's a closeup of my image as well.  Mindy really shares with you how to add depth to your images and make it really easy to create a scene for your image too.

If you're looking to really take your Copic coloring to the next level, I highly suggest that you take one of Mindy's classes.  You can use my affiliate link to join in a class or two.  You won't be disappointed in the knowledge you will gain from her awesome classes.  For me it's time to grab my Copics and get back to coloring.  See ya back here soon.

My Creative Scoop - Cinderella Card

Hey peeps.  I'm super excited to share with you my first design team project for My Creative Scoop.  I'm back to coloring with Copics and I'm thrilled to be a part of this team.  Copic coloring has always been my first and favorite coloring medium.  Being on  a team where that is my main focus has truly made me fall in love with coloring again.

Here is one of the images Mindy has available in her My Creative Scoop Digi Shop for you to purchase. This one is Cinderella.  Isn't she just beautiful?

I kept my card very simple to let my image be the star of my card.  Using just a classic sentiment and a few sequins is all I needed for my finishing touches.

You will learn so much in the Online Copic Coloring Classes that Mindy offers.  The classes are self paced and are broken down into sections for each coloring.

For more inspiration, make sure follow My Creative Scoop Facebook page. I'll see you guys back here soon.  Have a great day!
