Purple Happiness

Hey hey peeps!  It's Friday!  We made it through the week.  Woot Woot.  What's on your calendar for the weekend?  I'm finishing up a new tutorial to share with you.  But in the meantime I have another card for all of you.

As you can tell from all my post this week I'm really loving the new products from my Stamp Of Approval box.  So much happiness in one box.

I used the new Catherine Pooler Geo Builder stamp and Casual Friday Beautiful stamp set.  Of course this card had to be in purple.  I used Wisteria and Blue Violet inks for Simon Says Stamp.  These colors worked perfectly together. All I needed to add were a few sequin and my card was done.  So what do you think?  Did I rock this purple card?

The Party Continues - Purple Heart Party

Hey hey peeps.  I'm back today with some inspiration.  As you know I'm wearing and sharing all my purple.  I've been making cards and videos just for this occassion.  So shall we get started?

First let's look at a really cool card I made using the Gina K Designs stamps from my Stamp Of Approval box.  Oh Gina K did her thing on this stamp set.  LOVE Nothing is easier to make a card than using a gorgeous stamp set and pretty ink.

I had such a fun time putting together this card. Let me show you how it all came together. I think you'll want to pull out your purple too!

Purple Rain - RIP Prince - Musical Genius

Hey peeps.  As everyone is now aware the music genius Prince Rogers Nelson has gone on to heaven. I was and STILL am a HUGE fan of him and his music.  I grew up on Prince.  He was plastered all of my bedroom wall.  What I loved about him was his ability to just be HIM.  No fads, no fitting into a "box".  He was just being and doing HIM!  His freedom to not worry about what someone thought of him and to walk through life with a incredible sense of his own being is what we all wish we could do.  In honor of my "teenage fantasy" this post is for you Prince.

Rest in peace you beautiful soul.  I would love to be there for your after party in heaven.  One of the lyrics from his songs speaks volumes today...Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.  He lived his life on his own terms and WE LOVE YOU PRINCE!!!
