20+ Creative Scarf Projects - Make Your Own Stylish Scarf

Hey peeps.  How's it going?  I had the pleasure of receiving a wonderful craft book called Creative Scarves.  Tiffany Windsor has done it again.  She has created a book packed with 20+ stylish projects to craft and stitch.  Just looking at the cover of this book has me wanting to clear my craft room table and get busy making scarves.

This amazing book is packed with full size pictures of the incredible scarves you can make.  These photos are like eye candy.  Super beautiful and so pretty.  The step by step detailed tutorials for each project are laid out to make it easy to follow.  What I love most is the helpful hints and tips to make sure you are successful in having a beautiful finished project.  Let me show you just a few pictures of the incredible scarves in this book.

Also this book is fabulously broken down to seasons so you can explore what project you want to work on for the season you are currently in.  The index is brilliantly designed for you to just do a quick search of a particular style you may want to start with.  There are even FREE patterns in the back of the book that you use to help you design your scarves.

What's amazing are each of the techniques.  You can stamp, bleach, paint and bead your way to some amazing scarves.  Tiffany has mastered the way of creating amazing and beautiful year round craft and stitch scarves.  Once you have completed your project she even shows you how to wear them.  You can wear the classic loop, twist or loose drape to show off your new fashion accessory.  Scarves are one of the "must have" accessory you should have in your closet.  With this book you will be making one of a kind scarves to show off your unique style.

Now is the fun part.  Tiffany will be hosting a giveaway that will include a signed copy of this book along a $100 gift card from Dharma Trading to one lucky winner.  There is a blog list on her site along with links to all the participants.  You can also pick up a copy of her book over at Amazon.  Thanks for hanging out with me today and don't forget to take a leave a comment for your chance to win this amazing prize.

Go forth and be crafty~

Cool2Cast Blog Hop - E-book Review

Hey peeps.  Do I have some exciting news.  I had the pleasure and opportunity to do an e-book review for the new book by Tiffany Windsor called Cool2Cast Tips, Techniques and Ideas for Jewelry, Home Decor and Embellishments!  This book has a wealth of information for all of us crafters.  But before I get started with the review let me give you a little bit of background about Tiffany.

Tiffany is best known in the creative community as the founder of the Cool2Craft community featuring the popular on-line Cool2Craft YouTube video channel. She developed a love for inspiring the creative community when she was the producer/host of Aleene’s Creative Living Television show and editor of Aleene’s Creative Living Magazine. Tiffany has made regular appearances on QVC and HSN and has authored over 20 hard-cover and soft-cover books.

With all this knowledge that Tiffany has to share I have to say this book was a-mazing!  One of the things I noticed right off the back is all the glorious photos of example projects you can make with Cool2Cast products. For me it's all about visual references.  I need to be able to see the artwork and not just read about it.

Next this book has so many step by step instructions that easily helps walk you through the process of using Cool2Cast products for all your crafting needs.  From making jewelry pieces to home decor.  You will never have to guess "I'm I doing that right?"  There are instructions for using Cool2Cast with traditional molds, unusual molds and molds using your regular household items.  On top of all that, there is a section on ways to color your casting medium.  Now that is COOL!!  So this e-book get a HUGE TWO THUMBS UP from me.

I also want to mention that Bella Crafts Quarterly Fall 2014 magazine is now available! Bella Crafts Quarterly is the #1 craft magazine that is always FREE for readers to view online or download.  Make sure to click here for your free copy today.

Hugs and love~
