Holiday Gift Giving - Oriental Trading

Hey hey peeps.  Are you ready for the holidays? Well if you're not,  too late love they are here.  LOL  It's time to share some kindness and what better way than to do it with homemade cookies, some candy treats and bottles of wine.  Yes something for everyone.  Nothing to me is better than showing your family, friends and neighbors how much you appreciate them.  And guess what you don't have to break the bank to do it.

You can truly be in style this year and give your goodies in style using some fun and happy products from Oriental Trading.  I love giving a good bottle of wine and who wouldn't want to receive one in an adorable bottle sweater bags.  Look how cute this adorable ugly sweater one is.

 

Like I said I love giving away goodies however I'm not a great bread maker.  So instead of using regular goodie bags to add some holiday candy in, I used super cute Christmas treat containers filled with yummy chocolates, vanilla tootsie rolls and lifesavers.  There is sooo much candy to pick from at Oriental Trading.

Now you can't have wine without something sweet to follow it after a great meal.  I used some cute Christmas trays with bags and tags. I popped in some different kinds of cookies and my packing was complete. How cute are the little Snoopy figures on the bag and tag? 

Speaking for gift giving,  I'm giving myself a little bit of a break to focus on my health and my family.  I'll be back later in the month to share with you a few bits of news and maybe, just maybe an AWESOME giveaway. ;-)  Be safe and be kind to one another!

Spring Wedding Candy Cart - Oriental Trading

Hey hey peeps.  I have a sweet treat for you today.  This is the season for weddings and I have an adorable candy cart to share with you today.  My friend Pam's daughter is getting married and she has a sweet tooth just as big as mine.  And trust me I have a HUGE sweet spot for this candy and cookie filled cart. Thanks to Oriental Trading and their amazing line of party supplies the day was filled with happiness and sugar.  I used my Raskog cart to spread out my goodies for all the guests.  So let's take a peek at what's on the cart.

I kept my cart clean and simple so all the goodies could be the star of the show.  All the guest had several options to pick from.  That's right, if you can't handle the sweets you must go!  LOL  So let's go over all this gorgeous sugar filled goodies.

On the top tray of the cart I placed some light pink and turquoise candy filled straws in glass containers. These straw so remind me of my childhood.  Next we have some gorgeous gold star swirl pops.   Oh these were a huge hit with the ladies.  To round out the top tray I added some kettle corn pop corn in adorable mini lime green popcorn boxes, some mini Reese Peanut Butter cups and gold two hearts buttermints.  Oh I love these things.  For some of the guest that just needed a tad bit of sweetness I had biscotti cookies for them.  

Now let's take a look to see what's on the rest of the cart.  To keep the sugar high going I had turquoise mini twisty pops, York peppermint patties, dum dums and smarties, crystal rock candy pops (my kids LOVED these) and the cutest hot pink polka dot gift boxes filled with hot pink chevron buttermints. 

Putting everything in clear and white containers let all the pink, green, turquoise and gold pop. I stored the extra boxes and mints on the bottom tray so we could refill the top and middle trays when needed.  Everyone gets a chance to go home with a serious sugar high! ;-)

Valentine's Day Party - Oriental Trading

Hey peeps.  Are you ready for Valentine's Day?  I am ready and can't wait to spoil my hubby with sweets, presents and of course all the love he can muster from his one and only true love ME!!  LoL  Let me show you how to get your party started.  Of course the place to start is at Oriental Trading.  They have tons of party supplies.  And not just for your own party but for classroom, bible study, work spaces, etc.  They can get you all set and ready to go so you are the star of your own party.  Let's see what I have up my sleeve today.  Caution this is a heavy photo post.  Get your wallets ready. Now I have my table all set and ready to go.  With great paper products and heart filled treasures on my table I'm already in love.  And of course I must add the sweets.

Now if you guys don't know me, I'm a candy junkie and I LOVE sharing it with my hubby, family and friends.  Each person that stops by will get a gift in this adorable arrows and hearts bag and some candy. They can fill those adorable cellophane bags with all those sweet treats.

For my hubby, I have something a little extra.  I love giving him cute stuffed animals he can put on this desk while he's at work.  I know he gets the crazy eye from his co-workers but he just rolls with it.  He knows I love showering him with little mementos so he knows how much I love him.  And this adorable little stuffed lion stole my heart.  Yup I had to have him.  He will be kept secret snuggled nicely in this lovely decorated bag. 

And last, the decorations are up.  I love these pretty heart banners.  They are so shiny and pretty.  Then I just needed to add a beautiful all red heart banner on the wall and my decorating was complete.

Oriental Trading Company - Adult Coloring Books Review

Hey hey peeps.  I'm back today to share a review of some of the wonderful adult coloring books the Oriental Trading company is carrying.  As you know, adult coloring books are the raze lately.  It's totally NOT just for kids anymore.  I own a few of these books and it is so relaxing to just sit back and color.  Stress just seems to flow away with every pencil stroke.  I've given you some links below so you can find the items and purchase them for yourself.
