More Organization: Distress and Memento Luxe Ink Storage

Hey hey peeps.  Happy Wednesday.  As promised I'm back with move ink pad storage.  Remember you don't have to go out and purchase expensive storage for your craft room.  I found this old cassette tape holder at a flea market shop for $10. I love the fact that I'm also re-purposing an old item and using it for something new.  If you missed yesterday's post on how I store my other ink pads you can find it HERE. Craft Room Organization: Ink Pad Storage

Hey hey peeps.  I know we are always looking to store our craft supplies in a quick and easy way.  I have watched a massive amount of videos to see how people store their stuff.  I think everyone is different and we all try to find what works best for us.  So today I'm sharing a video on how I stored my ink pads.

Now I said "stored" because I'm in the process of moving and I'm not sure how I will store them when I get into my new space.  Now in this video you will see how I store most of my inks.  However, I store my distress inks and memento inks separately.  I'll share a video on that tomorrow.

Get Coloring - Instant Cards for Days

Hey peeps.  Do you like to color?  Do you find yourself hurrying to make a card just to realize you need to color up an image?  Well, I have been there.  But now I'm way ahead of myself.  LOL  If you follow me on Periscope you have seen my "bowl of happiness".  It's a bowl that sits on my desk with colored images ready for a card.

I will stamp out a few images and color them up during the week.  They may be matched with paper already or I just color them in some of my favorite color combos.  Now if you are looking for great color combos, head on over to my Pinterest page.  I have a board full of color combinations to get you started.

So here are a few images that I have colored up and ready for cards.  Coloring for me is so relaxing and it takes me to a happy place.  And NEVER stress over how you color.  It takes practice and time. We all must start somewhere until we learn how to do it correctly and in our own style.  Don't worry that your images don't look like someone who's been coloring for years.  Remember, they had to practice to get to that point.  Don't worry, you will get there.

Once my images are all colored up, I fussy cut them or die cut them and pop them in this bowl.  Now when I need to make a card, I just grab an image, some paper and a few embellishments.  My card comes together in no time.  So if you love to color and need a last minute card, go ahead COLOR. Organize Those Embellishments FAST!!

Hey peeps.  When was the last time you organized your embellishments?  Since I have been a stamper I have changed my storage a million times plus ten.  LOL  First you think you have it the way you want and then you see a YouTube video or a post on someone's blog that makes you change your mind.  That happens A LOT for me.  But with tiny embellishments it's kind of hard to figure out what is just right for your stamp room.  Here are two ways I store my embellishments.

A New Look For 2015 - Let's Get Organized

Hey, hey peeps.  It's time for a change.  Yup, as you can tell I've changed the design of my blog.  I had been planning on doing this for a really long time but never had the guts to just go for it.  Well that is until I discovered Jana of the Little Web Writing Hood shop on Etsy.  Working with Jana was such a pleasant experience.  She took every hair splitting design I had in my head and worked magic.  I can not thank her enough for helping me to start the new year with a bright and cheery blog.

With my blog design being done I wanted to get better organized for 2015.  I found the M Series by Staples Arc Discbound planner and all I can say is WOW!!

A Little Bit of Recycling

Hey peeps.  I have a little recycling tip today.  We had an event at work and the prizes were packages of golf balls.  I thought "I can make something out of that".  My mind is forever crafting.  I came home pick through come 12x12 paper and viola! I'm using these to hold some of my stamps that aren't in drawers.  Plus they "pretty" up my stamp room. 

Here's another pic.  Okay, so many possibilities here.  I have a few more boxes left so I think I'll make up some Christmas ones to hold cookies and such.
