Simon Says Stamp Ornate Background Stamp Tutorial and Winner Announcement

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  I'm back today with a fun and colorful tutorial using the new ornate background stamp for Simon Says Stamp.  When I first saw this stamp I knew it was one that I had to have.  It's graphic design is something I was immediately drawn to.  There were several Simon Says Stamp design team members and some of my favorite Youtubers that shared some amazing projects with this stamp and it made me love it even more.

Now what's so great about this background stamp is the open design that gives you ample ways to color it.  I decided to go color overload and use some colorburst with mine.  I'm sharing a tutorial to let you see how to use colorburst to get this great effect on your cards as well.

You can watch the video here on my blog or in HD over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  All the products are listed below.  (I've used affiliate links below however there is no cost to you.)

Working Altenew Stencil With Colorburst - TUTORIAL

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  I'm back at it.  I'm making some colorful madness with Colorburst and the Layered Medallion B stencil from Altenew.  I used this same stencil a few weeks ago and you can see all the details on this post.  So let's look at today's card.

This card is super colorful and so easy to pull together.  I used just a few bottles of Colorburst to achieve all this color.

After having all this color I just needed a simple sentiment and a trio of sequins.  Now let's take a peek at the tutorial.

You can watch the tutorial here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

Have a great day everyone and I'll see you back here soon!

Oh my Color Burst LOVE

Hey peeps.  Well I broke down and purchased some of Color Burst and boy am I in LOVE!!!  These little containers for powder are like magical.  I'm hooked and I like it.  Let me show you some cards I made.

I am HOOKED on this stuff.  I can't get enough...seriously!!  It's amazing to watch all the colors come together.  Each container has several colors so you really never know what accent color your going to get.  Stunning.  For this card I used the Yellow, Sephia and Burnt Orange from the earth tone assortment collection.  I used the love die cut sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and then some fun foam to pop my sentiment up.  Here's a video I made showing how to use fun foam with your sentiments.

Now I need to go back in my stamproom and make more magic with this stuff.  I mean the possibility are endless.  I have some more coming my way in the next day or two.  I purchased the brights assortment collection too.  Can't wait to get my hands on them.  I'll see you guys soon.

Go forth and be crafty~
