Altenew Bountiful Branch

Hey peeps.  I'm back with a quick post.  I purchased the Altenew Bountiful Branch stamp set this month and I've fallen hard for it.  I was a little bit nervous at first to use a layering stamp set but this one is so easy to use and make beautiful cards.  I shared a live broadcast on Periscope putting this card together and the color combinations I used.  I can see it by clicking the link.

These cards were so easy to make and the color variations are limitless.

I highly suggest you pick up this stamp set for it's ease of use for your holiday cards.  Have a great day everyone.  I'll see you back here soon.

Simple Alcohol Ink Background - Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  I'm back to share a quick tutorial using some pretty alcohol inks.  You can easily make a simple alcohol ink background that will be stunning overtime as long as you pick colors that will easily blend together.  Make sure the colors you pick won't turn into mud when your done.  I usually reference my color wheel/chart or experiment with my supplies so I know exactly what colors blend well and which ones don't.

Here's the card we will be making today.  Super pretty background that works really well with a grounding piece of black cardstock.  I love using black with bright colors.  It just helps to make the color more vibrant then just adding white or another color.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll see you back here soon with another project and tutorial.  Have a great Monday everyone.

Masking and Distress Oxide Ink Blending Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  I'm back to share another quick tutorial.  Working with distress oxide inks are just so gorgeous and cool to play with. So for my card today I have created a blended heart tutorial that is easy to mass produce and fun to create.

I used three shades of distress oxide inks for this card picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and peacock feathers.  I pulled out my Altenew Crafty Life stamp to added a fun sentiment to my colorful card.  I used the new blackout ink from InkOn3 to stamp out the sentiment and it's so beautiful.  Lastly a few gems and my card was complete.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Come on back tomorrow as I have some sneak peeks to share with you.

2017 Holiday Card Series - Day 1 Wishing On A Star

Hey everyone.  I'm so super excited to announce the 2017 Holiday Card series!!!  Woot woot!!!  I thrilled to be able to share this series again with you this year.  I have so much awesomeness to get into this year.  I have to say that this series almost didn't happen.  Needed to make some space on my Ipad I mistakenly deleted videos I had already made thinking they were older videos.  Once I realized this error all I could do was curl up in a fetal position and cry. Once that pity party was over, I pulled up my big girl panties and got back to work because that's what you do!!  I refused to just cave in and not make the series.

So let's get started!!  Sit back and relax with your favorite beverage and let the Christmas magic begin. This card is featuring the stars and holiday wishes.  I used the Altenew Halftone Stars and the Holiday Script Words dies.  This card is a little different from the one in the video.  I had sent the card out in the mail before I had taken a photo of it for this video so the sequins are not on this card.  I also decided to add some glossy accents to the sentiment.

Keeping this card clean and simple with light colors really works for Florida living.  Plus it's a bonus for me as this is one of my favorite color combinations.  I also like to use non traditional color combos for holiday cards.

You can watch the tutorial here on my blog or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've listed all the products below for your shopping convenience. I have used affiliate links however there is no cost to you.

Have a great day everyone.  Leave me a comment letting me know your favorite holiday tradition.  I'll see you back here soon!

Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Hey peeps.  It's time for the Summer's Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I mean who can resist being a part of this hop? Not me!!  I think I've participated in every single one of them.  Let me share with you the card I made for today.

I just had to make mine in rainbow colors.  Yes, I want my coffee to make me happy and full of color.  LOL well that is exactly how I feel after drinking a cup or two.

Oh and that sassy little unicorn is my spirit animal!  LOL  I used the smile die from Pink and Main and the heart and coffee sentiment is from Altenew.  A perfect blend if I say so myself.

Have a great time along the hop and a safe weekend.  See ya back here soon!

Altenew Simple Flowers Background - Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday.  Let's rock a bold gold look for the weekend.  I'm playing with the Altenew simple flowers stamp set and gold embossing powder today.  I LOVE this stamp set and it's really retro and bold flowers.  Yet the fonts on the sentiments are light and pretty.  Love this combination.

Love how beautiful these flowers are.  I love that each one was it's own unique design.  It's stunning to stamp with and produces a great background piece.

Let me share with you how this card came together in the tutorial.  I'm going to be making a bunch of these in different colors.  You can watch it here on the blog or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

Have a great weekend everyone and I'll see you back here soon!!
