Altenew Distress Mandala Background Tutorial

Hey everyone. I'm playing with some distress oxide inks and the new Mandala die from Altenew.  Oh my gosh is this die cut sooo beautiful. It's so delicate and detailed.  I've seen some amazing cards made with this die so I knew I had to have it.

Look at the beautiful details in this die cut.  It's just amazing.  And the Hope die cut also from Altenew works perfectly in the center of this gorgeous piece.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

Have a great day everyone.  See you back here soon.

Wildflower Trio - Crafter's Companion

Hey peeps.  As promised I'm back with another card using one of the fabulous dies from the new Die'sire Classiques Spring/Summer Collection from Crafter's Companion.  I am so over the moon with these dies.

This stamp set is called Wildflower Trio.  This die set has three incredible dies.  They are perfect for making your spring and summer cards for family members and friends.  I decided to use the flower die and die cut it twice.  Once in green for the stems and then again in pattern paper to make the flowers.  The sentiment is from the Sheena Douglas A Little Bit Sketchy True Colors stamp set.

Here's a little closeup of my cute wildflowers.  Using this die with pattern paper the designs are endless.  Super cute and easy die to make fabulous flowers with.  To finish off my card I used some ribbon to tie the flowers together and some white ric rac down the end to add back a pop of white to my card.  You really need to head on over to Crafter's Companion and do a little spring shopping.

Well that's it for today peeps.  Hope to see you back here real soon.  I would love to see what spring cards you are creating.  If you would like to share them, send me an quick email at gotjoycreations@yahoo.com and I'll feature them here on my blog.

Go forth and be crafty~

A Little Country Cottage - Crafter's Companion

Hey peeps.  How's everyone doing? I know it's just the second day of the week but I do hope everyone's week has started off great.  I'm back today to share with you a card I made using the new Die'sire Classiques Collection Country Cottage die.  This die is part of the Spring/Summer collection over at Crafter's Companion.

I loved making this adorable scene card.  I added some curtains to the inside of my windows because you know a good set of windows need to be dressed.  LOL  This die even embosses the shingles and the bricks on the cottage.  So darn cute.

Here is a closeup so you can really see the detail on this die.  I also love the adorable door.  I die cut the door once again so I could have a little red door on my cottage.  For the grass around my little cottage I used my Spectrum Noir makers.  I also colored the sky with my markers but used some white paint to make my fluffy clouds.  The sentiment is from the Sheena Douglas A Little Bit Sketchy True Colors stamp set.  I love the sentiments in this set.

Well it's time for me to get back to making cards and working on some dt assignments.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Make sure you come on back later in the week for more fantastic cards using Crafter's Companion products.

Go forth and be crafty~
