CASology Challenge 185

Hey peeps.  I have been busy busy busy this weekend.  Organizing things in my stamp room, doing Copic maintenance (oh what a pain) and creating videos and cards.  I had just enough time to squeeze in this card for the CASology challenge.  You guys saw on my Periscope how I watercolored this eggs using the Egg-a-licious stamp set and die from SugarPea Designs and the Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolor Dot chart. Here is a link to the video from my Katch.me account.  Not sure why it's sideways.  I need to figure out how to change that.  My stamping enabler Kymona mentioned that the Casology challenge was to use cute eggs so I quickly created a card.

I quickly made a water wash for my eggs to sit on and used some colorful washi tape and enamel dots to finish off my card.  Love when a quick card come together.  Thanks Kymona for letting me know about the challenge.  Now back to work so I can share more crafty cards and videos with all of you.  I'll see you back here soon.

Wildflower Trio - Crafter's Companion

Hey peeps.  As promised I'm back with another card using one of the fabulous dies from the new Die'sire Classiques Spring/Summer Collection from Crafter's Companion.  I am so over the moon with these dies.

This stamp set is called Wildflower Trio.  This die set has three incredible dies.  They are perfect for making your spring and summer cards for family members and friends.  I decided to use the flower die and die cut it twice.  Once in green for the stems and then again in pattern paper to make the flowers.  The sentiment is from the Sheena Douglas A Little Bit Sketchy True Colors stamp set.

Here's a little closeup of my cute wildflowers.  Using this die with pattern paper the designs are endless.  Super cute and easy die to make fabulous flowers with.  To finish off my card I used some ribbon to tie the flowers together and some white ric rac down the end to add back a pop of white to my card.  You really need to head on over to Crafter's Companion and do a little spring shopping.

Well that's it for today peeps.  Hope to see you back here real soon.  I would love to see what spring cards you are creating.  If you would like to share them, send me an quick email at gotjoycreations@yahoo.com and I'll feature them here on my blog.

Spring has sprung

Hey peeps.  It's a fabulous day here in Georgia so I must get out and enjoy the sunshine.  But first I wanted to share a card I made for My Favorite Things color palette challenge.  Don't you just love these spring colors?  I used their Funky Floral stencil and some distress inks to create this beautiful background.  The sentiment is from the Chalkboard Greetings stamp set.  Oh and that cute little flower was made from their Gerbera Daisy die-namic.  And once more I used my homemade enamel dots.

Well have a fabulous day everyone.  Hope it's a beautiful day where you are.

Tiddly Inks Challenge 105

I told you I would be back with another card. :-)  I just had to join in on the fun over at Tiddly Inks.  The challenge this week was Clean and Simple.  Perfect for my Donna image today.  We have been getting a beat down with rain here in Georgia.  I really should not be complaining as it is watering my grass and flowers for free.  ;-)  But enough is enough.  I would like at least one weekend with any rain.

Okay enough complaining.  Thanks for swinging back by today.  I appreciate all the comments you guys leave.  Keep them coming.

Spring Is In The Air

Hey peeps.  We are almost at FRIDAY!!  I'm back with another card.  Spring is in the air here in Georgia.  The cherry blossoms are starting to bloom and my grass is turning a hint of green.  Can't wait for spring to get here.  I'm sooo tired of the cold weather.

In honor of springs arrival soon I made this card using a Sassy Cheryl image and sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie.  I love how this card turned out.  All the happy colors of spring.

Maybe we will get a little bit more rain so my roses will start blooming too.  We shall see.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Sassy Cheryl - Flowers
Ribbon Carousel - Spring
PaperTake Weekly - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by today.  I have one more card up my sleeve but have to finish it.  You will see it in just a few.

Your Next Stamp - Tasty Tuesday

Morning Peeps.  Time for another Tasty Tuesday at Your Next Stamp.  This month's inspiration came from this photo from Karen.  Ohhh,,,they look yummy!!  I could eat a stack of those and have no shame.  LOL

Since the photo already put 10 lbs on me I decided to look forward to spring with my photo inspiration card.  I used all YNS die cuts on my card.  I LOVE how this card turned out.  Especially since I didn't have to color anything and I could use of some of my scrap paper.  The sun is from the Whatnots Seasons Set One, the trees from Tree Trio and the grass is the Fun Spring Grass.  I picked the sentiment from Poppy The Groundhog

And since the groundhog didn't see his shadow I'm hoping for an EARLY spring.  Well, thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed your visit.  I hope you join in on the fun.  Make sure you swing by the YNS blog to see more creations.

Hugs and love~
