Technique Tuesday - Release Day

Hey peeps.  We made it to release day and I'm ever so excited to show you the cutest little beaver stamp set I have seen.  Meet Beau from the Beau and Beatrice Beavers stamp set and coordinating crafting dies.  This stamp set has the cutest punny sentiments in it. I colored Beau with my Copic markers and matched him to this really cool pattern paper.  BUT look at that sentiment. 😂  How stinkin' cute how it goes with this image.

Now it's time to shop.  All products are live over at the Technique Tuesday store.  Have fun shopping and I'll see you back here soon.

For today's card I'm sharing with you the adorable Dani Deer stamp set and coordinating crafty dies.  This image was so much fun to color and design with.  The sentiments and images in this stamp set can used year around. I colored this adorable little deer with my Copic markers and used the coordinating crafty dies to cut her out.  Next I pulled out some designer paper and made a cute little circle scene for her to stand next too.  This gave me the perfect place to add my sentiment on the snow drifts.

This was such a fun and easy card to put together.  You can totally mass product this style of card in no time.  I mean how darn cute is this deer?

Technique Tuesday September 2018 Release

Hey everyone.  I'm a little late sharing the Technique Tuesday September release.  Unfortunately I suffered a TIA (mini stroke) on August 24th. Not the way I planned on spending my Friday night however after multiple testing and admission into the hospital we were able to get my blood pressure under control.  I will be having more testing done and plan on taking better care of myself.  You all know how much my family and crafting means to be so I need to make sure I'm doing my part to be on this earth as long as possible.  ðŸ˜‰

I was able to finish up my cards and I wanted to share them with you.  If you haven't had a chance to swing by the Technique Tuesday blog to see the August 2018 release make sure to do so.  The design team members have done a phenomenal job with this release.

My first card is featuring the new Lovely Lavender stamp set and coordinating crafting dies along with the new Mandala Maker crafting die.  I colored the lavender with Copic makers.  I die cut out the mandala out of heavy weight vellum and also colored that with Copic markers.  I then die cut the mandala a few more times on white cardstock to secure my vellum to it.  I finished off this card with the

For my second card I used the Mandala Sentiments Stamp set with the Mandala Maker crafting die to make this card.  I stamped them in pretty blue, magenta and yellow inks along my card front.  Next I stamped a smaller image from this set in a graphite gray ink to fill in some of the space.  Next I stamped the happy birthday to you sentiment in the middle of the mandala.  To add some texture to this card I used the mandala die with vellum and added that different pieces of the mandalas.

And for my last card.  I made an ocean scene with the Wendell The Whale stamp set.  I watercolored him in rainbow fashion (yes, Wendall is a rainbow whale) 😂 and had him swimming across my card.  A watercolored the water and I used drew in some sun rays and clouds.  Next I stamped a sentiment and some hearts and popped them up with foam tape.

All products are now live in the Technique Tuesday store.  I've used affiliate links below for your shopping convenience at no cost to you.  I hope you enjoyed your visit today.  I'll see you back here soon.

Technique Tuesday Animal House Fun!!

Hey peeps.  I have some awesomeness to share with you today.  Technique Tuesday Animal House fun has begun.  It's your chance to win a free stamp set from their Animal House collection.  So take a  peek at the Animal House Category and comment on the Technique Tuesday blog on what's your favorite animal house stamp set.  It's that easy!!  Make sure to comment starting TODAY June 24 through June 29th.  Winners will be announced on July 1st.

Here is one of my favorite stamps from the Animal House collection.  It's Hanna The Horse.  I so love this stamp set because of it's humorous sentiments.  That is one thing I SOOO love about Technique Tuesday.  The sentiments in their stamp set are so fitting for the image.

I stamped the horse off in Memento Tuxdeo Black ink and colored it with my Copic markers.  Next I used a stitched die cut to cut my image on a cute little slant.  Also that was left was to stamp a sentiment and add a few wooden stars.  I loved pairing the house with this navy and white paper.  It really makes a great masculine card.

So don't forget to enter the giveaway you must leave a comment on the TECHNIQUE TUESDAY blog.  Good luck everyone.

Technique Tuesday - June Release

Hey peeps.  It's release day over at Technique Tuesday.  I'm sharing with you one of the newest Animal House addition stamps and crafty die cuts I think you are going to love.  The Duck Swan Goose stamp set and the Duck Swan Goose Crafting Dies are the perfect addition to your birthday and friendship cards this year.

For my card I kept it really fun and playful.  I stamped out the goose from the stamp set and colored him with Copic markers.  I then die cut two stitched circles and used mustard seed distress ink on the smaller one to a happy yellow color to it.  Next I stamped my sentiment off centered so it left room for my goose to nestle next to it.

I paired my goose with some fun and bright polka dot paper to complete this adorable birthday card.  This stamp set is FULL of amazing sentiments and two more adorable images...a duck and a swan.

You can piece up the entire June release TODAY in the Technique Tuesday shop.  Have a great day everyone.  See you back here soon!

Hero Arts Brave Lion Tutorial

Hey peeps.  I'm so happy to be back blogging.  Mom duty called and I had to head to NY City to get my son settled into college.  He has stated his masters degree at Columbia University and there was no way I was just going to send him there and not make sure I knew exactly where his apartment was and check out the surrounding area.  I'm from New Jersey but live 1,000 miles away now.  All my family is still there so I know if he needs anyone they are right there for him.  I have to admit I cried like a baby when I left him. :-(

Anyway, I'm back with a quick tutorial using the Brave Lion layering stamp from Hero Arts.  I purchased it a while back but just recently had a chance to pull it out and play with it.  It's a pretty awesome stamp set.  This brave lion is super easy to stamp with and it make a very striking card.  I love using Hero Arts stamps for their versatility and happiness factor.   Here's a quick pic of the finished card.

You can watch the video right here or you can watch it in HD over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  Please feel free to share the video with your stamping friends and make sure if you like the video to give me a thumbs up and leave a comment.

I've listed the products I used below.  Some products were not available so I linked to a comparable item.  Now it's time for me to find my mojo and start creating again.  I'll be back with more videos tutorials and cards to share.  Have a great day everyone!!
