Having a Baby!!!

Hey peeps.  NOOOO I'm not having a baby!!! I can't believe that the month of January is already over.  But I'm ready for some FOOTBALLLLLLLL!!!  LOL  My team is not playing in the Super Bowl but I will be watching the game.  But let's talk cards first.

Hey peeps!  I'm starting to really get into the fall mood.  I'm changing out my decor and adding in all my fall colors.  The weather is so nice here in Georgia.  And you know it's fall because the Georgia National Fair is in town.

Since I'm not at home I can't put together any cards but I always carry my Copic markers and uncolored images with me so I can color on the road.  And I have to say I fell in LOVE with this image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Oh he just fills my heart with JOY!  I loved this little guy so much I had to color him twice.

This one I colored in a slightly darker skin tone.  He just makes me giggle every time I look at him.  Now I have to get this cutie on a card.  Maybe I'll make a card and have it one of my giveaways soon.  Would you like that?  Okay, I better get busy coloring up some more images! ;-)  See ya soon!

Hey peeps.  How's everyone doing today?  I'm finally catching up on some challenges I wanted to join in on.  Isn't it just so hard to not play in all of them?  I mean, I searched the internet and there are thousands of challenges to join.  I would be stamping all day.  LOL 

Floating On A Cloud

Hey peeps.  Welcome back.  Well my plans didn't go well for a weekend family get-away but not sad faces here.  I just know when we do get away in a a few weeks it will be well worth the delay.  

Since I had a few days to unplug, I got to coloring up some images for a few challenges I wanted to join in on.  As you all know, I LOVE my Copic markers.  So when stress comes along, I just start coloring.  It really does help to calm the nerves.  LOL  So I colored up this adorable little angel from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Since the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil is Wings and Things, I was right on target to get a card done.  

Should be making V-day card...but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hey peeps. The conversation in my head this morning.  "Dana don't stray and make other cards today.  Only Valentine's Day cards.  Got it?"  My inner spirit "Got it Boss. I'm on it".  Well how did that go Dana?  LOL  I haven't made one V-day card but I did get a birthday one done.  LOL   And just in time for the January Gallery Challenge over at PaperCrafts Connection.  I think a little shopping is in order today anyway.  That will be me come March.  Squeezed into a tight fitting dress with a birthday bag full of goodies!  Just saying! 

But on to bigger news!!  I have been selected to join the ever talented group of ladies over at Parade Your Crafts.  Thank you Lisa for selecting me to be apart of the time.  And I also started my Got Joy Creations - Dana Joy Facebook Page.  WHAT...stepping on the wild side girl!!  Well I guess I better get my "parading" butt back in my stamp room and crank out this V-day cards.

Angel of Mine

Happy Friday peeps.  I'm back with a quick card for you.  I thought I would join in over at Mojo Monday this week.  I've had this little angel image from Mo's Digital Pencil colored up since last year.  It is FINALLY making it to a card.

I used some scrap paper from my bin and died some white ribbon with my SU Taken With Teal marker.  I really stink tonight on my sewing.  SOOO have to work on that.  :-)

Happy Birthday Card

Hey peeps.  It's a gloomy Monday here in Georgia.  The rain sure does make one sleepy.  But not sleepy enough that I could get my Copics out and color for a bit.  I think this Girly Girl Candy image from Mo's Digital Pencil is just toooo cute!  I love her puffy ponytails.  And that fabulous smile is just darling!
I used Embellish by Dena Little Azalea paper.  I then made a stencil out of punches and made the blue background with butterflies and flowers.  I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

For The Boys

Hey peeps.  Hope everyone has been doing good.  One more day until Friday.  Have been home the past week not feeling well so I have had plenty of time to color!  I made this card for the challenges over at Splitcoaststampers and Mo's Digital Pencil. 

My nephew is a fanatic about video games so this one will be going in the mail to him soon.  Now, if they can only get him off that thing to do his homework?!?  ;-)  The image is from MDP and it's called Video Boy. I used Bazzill paper and a couple of sheets from the Echo Park Little Boy Collection.  The sentiment is made with Your Next Stamp Clear Skinny Font Alpah set.   Gotta run to do some more coloring. :-)

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge

Hey peeps.  Are you ready for the weekend?  I sure am.  Took some time to join in on the fun over at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge.  I had this image colored for over a year I think sitting in my bin labeled "images colored and matched with paper". Yup, I have a bin called just that.  I know, crazy right.  But it makes it sooo easy to join in a challenge without having to start from scratch.  Now, aren't I the clever one?!?!  LOL

Anyway, I hope everyone has  a great start to their weekend.  I'm hoping to convince my husband to change my stamp room around for me.  He's only done it like five times already.  ;-)

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone is starting their week of in grand style.  I'm back with another card for the Color Me Creative challenge going on for the new two weeks.  We would like to see some PINK on your cards.  Any color pink will do.  I used this adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil that I had colored up.  The sentiment is from Our Craft Lounge Granny's Support Team set.  This just cracks me up.  Such a humorous set.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge

Hey peeps.  Back with another card.  I'm thrilled that I had time this weekend to get caught up on my coloring.  I don't know about you but I'm at peace when I color.  It's like it relaxes me and makes me smile all at the same time.

This card is for Mo's Digital Pencil challenge to use kraft paper on your card.  I don't use kraft paper a lot because I have a hard time for some reason matching it to paper.  Kind of silly I guess but it's a challenge for me.

Hey peeps.  Back with a quick card.  I decided to join in on the fun over at Mo's Digital Pencil.  I needed a card for a wonderful friend of mine who is moving on with her family to big and exciting things.  I won't say better things because what could be better than staying here with me in GA?!?!  Really...you can't get this kind of free comedy anywhere else.  LOL

Anyway, I'm sure going to miss her and I love her beyond words.  She is such an angel.  We won't say goodbye since that is something we never do as military wives.  We say, until we see you again.

Mo's Digial Pencil Challenge 190

 Hey peeps.  Had a little bit of time to get into my stamp room today and create a card.  I'm using this card to enter into the Mo's Digital Pencil challenge.  For this challenge you had to use a Mo's image with bright colors.  Well I think I can check that box. :-)  I colored this image with my Copic markers and grabbed some bright colored paper from my scrap then and viola a card is done!!

Well I'm off to finish laundry and watch my husband do some handy work outside.  I love having a husband who is great with tools.

Mo's Digital Pencil - School's Out

Hey peeps.  Back with a quick card.  I just had to play along with this week's challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil. The theme was School's Out!  Well I know a few teachers who are going to be doing some beach retreating away for all of their students.

I have to give a HUGE applaud to all the teachers out there.  You do a remarkable job with sometimes the most challenging kids EVER!!  So I toast to you and a job well done. I can say I never had the patience to be a teacher.  Oh, Lord I would of been fired with some of the kids in this world today.  My mother instinct would of kicked in and a little bit of "who do you think you are talking too?" would be slipping out.  And not in a good way.  LOL

DP2 Challenge

Hey peeps.  I have a quick card for you today.  I'm taking part in the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil.  I love, love, love how this card came out.  I think it's my best "scene" to date.  I think this image is so darn cute.  I paired her up with some new paper I received in the mail from My Minds Eye.  Of course she was colored up with my Copic Markers.

Sorry to be so quick today.  I am swamped with graduation planning for my son.  More on that later. :-)

Copic Coloring

Hey peeps.  Hope all of you are doing well.  I don't have a card for you today but I do have some Copic Tips to share.  Every now and again I color up a Copic image for my sample book.  I've had this one done for awhile so I thought I would share it with you. 

I try to keep samples of images that I color that I really like how they turned out.  This just happens to be one of them.  Well, I hope you have enjoyed your little pit stop here today.  Be sure to come back tomorrow and spend a little time with me.

Please Be My Valentine

Hey peeps.  Back with a another Valentine's Day card.  I just fell in LOVE with this image called Please by Mo's Digital Pencil.  She's is just wishing for someone to be her Valentine.  LOL  Too sweet!!  The entire card is made with scrap paper and ribbons.  Gotta love that!!  I hate throwing away my scraps. :-) My card is heading over to the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil - Lace and/or Ribbon
