25 Days Of Christmas Tags

Hey peeps.  I'm participating in the 25 Days Of Christmas Tags this year and I'm super excited.  I have seen some amazing tags and the inspiration is overwhelming (in a good way).  WOW so many talented people in this crafty community. Today Technique Tuesday is the sponsor.

For my tag today I'm using the Technique Tuesday Hello Winter stamp set and the Sweater Weather crafting die cut.  I love the cozy feeling of this shaker tag.

I started off by cutting out the back of the tag and using the Sweater Weather crafting die to make a festive pattern on this piece.  Next I stamped the Hello Winter sentiment from the Hello Winter stamp set at the top portion of the tag.  I colored out my bomber jacket with Copic markers and used Tulip puffy paint for the fur around the hood.  I used black Nuvo drops for the buttons.

I die cut out the top portion of my tag to create a top for the shaker elements.  I filled the tag with red, blue, silver and white sequins to keep everything within the color hue I was using.  I adhered down my top with double sided foam tape to give it some dimension.  All that was left was to add a top piece for the ribbon and twine to go through and tie all the ribbon and twine into a few bows. I adhered my bomber jacket to the shaker tag with adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Make sure to swing by Tracey's blog to see all the beautiful tags that were created for today.

Christmas Shaker Tags

Happy Monday everyone.  I'm back today sharing some sweet Christmas shaker tags and I'm joining in on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.  Making tags is such an easy and fun way to add a special touch to your holiday gifts.

For my tags I used the Dashing Deer stamp set from MFT and the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 die-namics along with some Birthday Blowout pattern paper.  This shaker tag was a breeze to put together.  Instead of using foam tape I die cut out the shape of the tag six times to build up the thickness of the tag. This keeps the sides of the tag clean.  Since this tags are small I only needed one image inside and just a few sequins.

Adding just a banner sentiment across the top of my tag and my shaker tag was complete.

Have a great day everyone.  See you back here later in the week.

Rainbow Roses TUTORIAL

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  Thought I would start the week off with a tutorial.  This is the first one for 2017.  Yikes I don't know where the first two weeks of January have gone. I'm using the newly released Roses In Bloom stamp set from FBStamps.

Making custom tags is a quick and easy why to showcase a gorgeous image without having to commit to coloring an entire design.  In this case foiling an entire design.  Here's the tutorial on how this tag came together.  You can also watch it over at YouTube as well.

What are your go to tag creations? Comment below and let's inspire each other.  Have a great day everyone.

A Taste Of India - Crafter's Companion

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  Well this week is a special week because tomorrow is my birthday.  Woot, woot.  Yup 21 all over again.  LOL  No really, I embrace my beautiful age.  It means I was able to see another year of life. :-)

And speaking about seeing another year I have the chance to work with the incredible ladies on the Crafter's Companion team.  Here is my latest tag using the Sheena Douglas A Touch of India Henna Mango stamp set.

I loved working with this stamp.  I started off my tag by stamping it in versamark and then heat embossing it with white embossing powder.  Next I colored in the image with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I used various colors to really make this stunning image pop on my manilla tag.  I then outlined the image with a fine tip black marker.  Adding the enamel dots and gorgeous ribbon was a fun touch for my tag.

I hope you like my latest creation using Crafter's Companion products.  I'll be back shortly with another creation.  I'm going to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Using this gorgeous ribbon I made this beautiful tag for a friend of mine.  She is going to LOVE this tag I'm sure.  It's right up her alley.

I'm going to have to find a bag pretty enough to match my tag.  Hummm...might have to make one of my Silhoutte and use some more of this gorgeous ribbon around the bottom.  Yes, that's exactly what I will do.  See I just needed to talk it through with all of you.  Thanks peeps!  Okay, now it's time to head on over to Kathy's blog to see what gorgeousness she has going on.  I'll see you guys soon.

Holiday Tags with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hey peeps. Back to share a bit of inspiration with you.  I'm plowing away at trying to get my holiday tags made.  I use them a lot during this time of year.  So here is one of them for you to take a peek at.  I used the October Ribbon Club kit for my tag today.  The ribbon in this kit is perfect for the upcoming holiday.  The delicate stitched satin forest green ribbon paired up just right with my designer paper.  And I love the metallic silver string that's in the store.  FABULOUS!

Here's a close up of the metallic ribbon.  How awesome is that?  I made some serious loops with my Bow It All to get tons of sparkle at the top of my tag.  The best investment for making bows look fantastic!  Thanks for hanging out with me today.

Hugs and love~
