Rainbow Roses TUTORIAL

Hey peeps. Happy Monday. Thought I would start the week off with a tutorial. This is the first one for 2017. Yikes I don't know where the first two weeks of January have gone. I'm using the newly released Roses In Bloom stamp set from FBStamps.

Making custom tags is a quick and easy why to showcase a gorgeous image without having to commit to coloring an entire design. In this case foiling an entire design. Here's the tutorial on how this tag came together. You can also watch it over at YouTube as well.

Sneak Peek Day 3 Brutus Monroe - Perfect Paisley

Hey hey happy Saturday. Let's keep off today with some pretty paisley shall we? I'm so excited to be sharing this stamp set with you today. Paisley is so in fashion these days and when I saw a shirt a woman was wearing at the doctor's office, I immediately told Christopher that we had to make a stamp set with that design. Check out this awesome paisley. Perfect Paisley will be available next week over at Brutus Monroe. You can see the stamp set over on my Youtube channel.

I loved stamping the paisley print in happy summer colors. Adding just a few touches of embellishments takes this card to the next level.

Sneak Peek Day 2 - Brutus Monroe - Flower Power

Hey peeps. Back with day 2 of the sneak peeks for the Joy Collection over at Brutus Monroe. The next stamp set up is Flower Power. This is truly a throw back to funky flowers and layers. It's retro inspired for sure. Having fun and funky flowers can add a ton of versatility to your paper crafting. This flower set allows you to layer flowers but you can use elements from the set to great your own groovy backgrounds. You can see the set over on my Youtube channel.

Check out this background I created with using the inside layer for a flower and a tie-dyed piece of paper. Groovy to the max!

Tomorrow I will share with you the last stamp set for the release this month. I think this one might just blow your hats off (insert happy grin). I'll see you all tomorrow.

Sneak Peek Day 1 - Brutus Monroe It's Your Birthday

Hey peeps. How's everyone doing? I'm back with a sneak peek of The Joy Collection from Brutus Monroe. The stamp sets will be available next week. I believe you are going to fall in love with them. I had the best time working these designs with Christopher. So let's take a look at what I have for you today. To see the stamp set head on over to my YouTube channel.

This soon to be released stamp set is called It's Your Birthday. I'm ALWAYS in need of birthday cards for family and friends so I was so happy to create a stamp set for you. I'm a huge font person and we decided to do the fonts with light airy lines this time. In the last two stamp sets Joyful Sentiments and Spring Garden the font was really bold. Love mixing things up. For this card I stamped the party hats in embossing ink and then heat embossed them in gold. I fussy cut them out and colored in the stripes and stars with Spectrum Noir markers. Next I stamped the sentiment celebrate with embossing ink and heat embossed in card. Adding a few dots around the black piece of card stock with a white gel pen and adding some enamel dots to some decorative paper and this card was done.

Next I used the balloons from the stamp set. I LOVE how you will be able to layer your balloons with this set. The color possibilities are going to be endless. You will have five different designs to use on your balloons or you can color in the outline with the medium of your choice. Of course we needed to have a cup cake in this set. The cupcake is also build-able! Sweet right?!?! Matching this set with birthday inspired paper is just perfect!!

I'll have another sneak peek for you tomorrow. Oh I can't wait for you to see this set. Be ready to go back in time. Groovy is going to blow your mind. ;-)

Cards for Guys Video Collaboration

Hey hey peeps. I feel like I haven't written a post in some time. I have been very busy lately and again not feeling well. Trying to push myself has taken it's toll but I've been through worse and I know this too shall pass.

On a fabulous note, I have join up with 26 (YES 26) fantastic YouTubers for a video collaboration to share some guy card inspiration. I know I struggle to make male themed cards so I was so excited when I was asked if I wanted to join in on the fun. There are 26 videos for you to enjoy starting May 23rd through June 5th. MayMay Made It was the first one up yesterday and today myself and Shae are sharing our inspiration. Make sure to visit the daily YouTubers to play along in our game for some great prizes. We will do this hop style, so you will watch the first video on Maymay Made It's Channel then you will hop to the others using the description box to see who is next. The contest is super fun, each creator will name a tool from their dad's tool box using the alphabet to keep us straight. You can start a list on your paper A thru Z and each time you catch a video write down the tool mentioned in the video. In the last video (Gareth's) there will be a link to a giveaway, you will list the tools you collected to be entered. Open internationally to persons 18 years and over.

The Joy Collection is HERE

Hey hey peeps. The day is finally here. The Joy Collection will make it's deubt at Brutus Monroe today. I have two brand new stamp sets and a ink line available today at 9:00 AM EST. This is truly a dream come true for me. I would of never thought a company as great as Brutus Monroe would allow me to explore my crafty side and design stamps and inks.

Here is a card using the new Joyful Sentiments and the gorgeous mixed media Folkwave stencil. I truly hope you enjoy this new collection. I am so honored to be a pat of the creative team at Brutus Monroe. Now it's time to shop!! Have fun!!

Twin Time - A Little Break

Hey peeps. Happy Monday. This week my twin sister is in town so I'll be hangin with her and having an amazing time. We get so silly when we are together. We laugh until we cry and my hubby just looks at us like we are crazy. He's used to the madness by now.

Coffee Time Monday

Hey peeps. I hope all of you had a fabulous weekend. I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. My hubby spoiled me rotten this entire weekend. I am so very blessed to have him as my hubby. I don't know what I would do without him.

I had some time between all the activities this weekend to make another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I really enjoyed making this card. I used the Coffee Addict stamp set from SugarPea Designs and the fabulous gilded shimmer embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. For the watercolor I used the Recollections Color Splash watercolor crayons. I have to say these watercolor crayons are MAGICAL!! They have a little bit of shimmer in the crayon itself. Oh this stuff is brilliant. You'll be seeing a Youtube video later this week on these crayons.

To finish off my card I used some sequin I had in my stash and layered everything on a white card base. You guys know how much I love my white card bases.
