Sneak Peek Day 3 Brutus Monroe - Perfect Paisley

Hey hey happy Saturday.  Let's keep off today with some pretty paisley shall we?  I'm so excited to be sharing this stamp set with you today.  Paisley is so in fashion these days and when I saw a shirt a woman was wearing at the doctor's office, I immediately told Christopher that we had to make a stamp set with that design. I loved stamping the paisley print in happy summer colors.  Adding just a few touches of embellishments takes this card to the next level.

Sneak Peek Day 2 - Brutus Monroe - Flower Power

Hey peeps.  Back with day 2 of the sneak peeks for the Joy Collection over at Brutus Monroe.  The next stamp set up is Flower Power.  This is truly a throw back to funky flowers and layers.  It's retro inspired for sure. Having fun and funky flowers can add a ton of versatility to your paper crafting.  This flower set allows you to layer flowers but you can use elements from the set to great your own groovy backgrounds.  You can see the set over on my Youtube channel.

Check out this background I created with using the inside layer for a flower and a tie-dyed piece of paper.  Groovy to the max!

Tomorrow I will share with you the last stamp set for the release this month.  I think this one might just blow your hats off (insert happy grin).  I'll see you all tomorrow.

Sneak Peek Day 1 - Brutus Monroe It's Your Birthday

Hey peeps.  How's everyone doing?  I'm back with a sneak peek of The Joy Collection from Brutus Monroe.  The stamp sets will be available next week.  I believe you are going to fall in love with them.  I had the best time working these designs with Christopher.  So let's take a look at what I have for you today. This soon to be released stamp set is called It's Your Birthday.  I'm ALWAYS in need of birthday cards for family and friends so I was so happy to create a stamp set for you.  I'm a huge font person and we decided to do the fonts with light airy lines this time.  In the last two stamp sets Joyful Sentiments and Spring Garden the font was really bold.  Love mixing things up. For this card I stamped the party hats in embossing ink and then heat embossed them in gold.  I fussy cut them out and colored in the stripes and stars with Spectrum Noir markers.  Next I stamped the sentiment celebrate with embossing ink and heat embossed in card.  Adding a few dots around the black piece of card stock with a white gel pen and adding some enamel dots to some decorative paper and this card was done.

Next I used the balloons from the stamp set.  I LOVE how you will be able to layer your balloons with this set.  The color possibilities are going to be endless.  You will have five different designs to use on your balloons or you can color in the outline with the medium of your choice.  Of course we needed to have a cup cake in this set.  The cupcake is also build-able!  Sweet right?!?!  Matching this set with birthday inspired paper is just perfect!!

Rainbow Fun - TUTORIAL

Hey hey peeps.  As promised I'm back with a video using the Joyful Sentiments stamp set just released from Brutus Monroe.  I shared a card last week on release day but I promised to share a video on how the card came together.  So here is the card I made using the Folk Weave stencil along with some distress inks.  I love making rainbow colored cards.  I used my favorite sentiment from the Joyful Sentiments set.  I love the font we used on this stamp set.

Here is another card I made using the same stencil but with a different sentiment.  This sentiment is from the Spring Garden stamp set that was also released over at Brutus Monroe.

The Joy Collection is HERE

Hey hey peeps.  The day is finally here.  The Joy Collection will make it's deubt at Brutus Monroe today.  I have two brand new stamp sets and a ink line available today at 9:00 AM EST.  This is truly a dream come true for me.  I would of never thought a company as great as Brutus Monroe would allow me to explore my crafty side and design stamps and inks. 

Here is a card using the new Joyful Sentiments and the gorgeous mixed media Folkwave stencil.  I truly hope you enjoy this new collection.  I am so honored to be a pat of the creative team at Brutus Monroe.  Now it's time to shop!!  Have fun!!
