Technique Tuesday Faith and Easter Sale

Hey peeps.  Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  It's been a little rough with the passing of my beloved dog and then I caught a nasty bug.  I will be back to making video and a regular posting schedule shortly.

Today I'm sharing a fabulous sale happening over at Technique Tuesday.  You can get 25% all Faith and Easter stamp set and dies until Tuesday March 13.  They have a great selection to choose from.   You can head on over to the Technique Tuesday store to pick up your goodies.  Don't forget to use the HAVE FAITH coupon code at check out.  Click on this link to start shopping. (affiliate link used at no cost to you).

For this adorable card I stamped Bailey the Bunny on the front of my card and traced a circle along the upper half of her body.  Next I partially die cut her using the Bailey The Bunny coordinating crafting die keeping the lower part of her body connected to the front of the card.  I then used my blade knife to cut long the circle line to have an open window behind her. I opened my card and stamped her coordinating backside behind the partial die cut piece. Such a cute surprise when you open the card.

To finish off my card I added a few carrots, stamped a sentiment in rainbow colors of ink, and added some fun plaid paper.  For the inside I decided to add a soft yellow ink so when the card is closed it shows up behind the bunny.  I added my greeting and an additional carrot and a strip of that pretty plaid paper.

Next I made a few prayer tags using the Faith Opens The Door stamp set.  I love giving out little reminders to hold on to your faith.  I know prayers have worked wonders for me so I'll be giving these out to some of my friends.

I die cut out some tags and stamped on the sentiments.   I used some pretty inks to lightly sponge onto my tags and used matching bakers twin to add some bows to the tops of each tag.  To finish them off I added some glossy hearts to the bottom.  I so love how these turned out.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone and I'll see you back here soon!

CASology Challenge 185

Hey peeps.  I have been busy busy busy this weekend.  Organizing things in my stamp room, doing Copic maintenance (oh what a pain) and creating videos and cards.  I had just enough time to squeeze in this card for the CASology challenge.  You guys saw on my Periscope how I watercolored this eggs using the Egg-a-licious stamp set and die from SugarPea Designs and the Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolor Dot chart. Here is a link to the video from my Katch.me account.  Not sure why it's sideways.  I need to figure out how to change that.  My stamping enabler Kymona mentioned that the Casology challenge was to use cute eggs so I quickly created a card.

I quickly made a water wash for my eggs to sit on and used some colorful washi tape and enamel dots to finish off my card.  Love when a quick card come together.  Thanks Kymona for letting me know about the challenge.  Now back to work so I can share more crafty cards and videos with all of you.  I'll see you back here soon.

Go forth and be crafty~

Happy Easter

Hey peeps.  Here's one last card before Easter arrives on Sunday.  I thought I would throw my hat into the ring of a couple of challenges.  I've had this imaged colored up for what seems to be like YEARS and finally got around to placing it on a card.  Have you ever done that?  Colored up something and just held on to it?  I seem to do that alot.  I have a basket full of images that are colored and matched with paper.  All I need to do is find a sketch and my card is done.  The only probably is, I love to color so I totally end up forgetting about the ones that are already done.  LOL

Anyway, my card is heading over to following challenges:

SCS - Easter and Gingham
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Just Add Ink - Just Add Bunny's

Thanks for joining me this week.  I hope to see ya soon.

Hugs and love~

Happy Easter Peeps

Hey peeps.  Happy Easter.  All I can say is Thank You Jesus for giving my life.  I am a humbled servant blessed beyond measures.  I hope everyone today can say a prayer thanking Jesus for all that he has done for us.

I have a few minutes this early morning to post my last Easter card.  But I think I'm going to send this to a friend of mine.  She is one of my favorite "chicks" around.  I'm sure she will get a kick out of this card.  I'm also playing along with the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  A HUGE congrats to Lesley for being selected this week.

Gotta run so I can get some sleep prior to church.  Everyone has a blessed Sunday.

Hugs and love~

Your Next Stamp Challenge #40 - Where's the texture??

Hey hey everyone.  Today it's another fabulous challenge at Your Next Stamp.  The challenge is to add a little bit of texture to your creation.  You know....dry embossing, heat embossing, stitching, ribbon.  The works.  I heat embossed my Easter basket and dry embossed one of the background paper.  Super great way to add a little umph to your cards.  But wait, there's more!! When you enter in the challenge you will have a chance to win some rubba.  That's right....some R-U-B-B-A!!  This week Karen is offering up the running back Football Dude. Remember you have plenty of time to participate in the challenge.  It runs for a full two weeks so you even have time to make a quick purchase from YNS to get your creative juices going.  There are a ton of items like this and that in the store to get your texture on.  I'm entering my card in the Sketch Saturday challenge also.

Remember you have until MIDNIGHT April 26th to link your creation to the little blue frog over at the YNS Challenge Blog.  Can't wait to see you work your "texture".

Hugs~
