Altenew Simple Flowers Background - Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday.  Let's rock a bold gold look for the weekend.  I'm playing with the Altenew simple flowers stamp set and gold embossing powder today.  I LOVE this stamp set and it's really retro and bold flowers.  Yet the fonts on the sentiments are light and pretty.  Love this combination.

Love how beautiful these flowers are.  I love that each one was it's own unique design.  It's stunning to stamp with and produces a great background piece.

Let me share with you how this card came together in the tutorial.  I'm going to be making a bunch of these in different colors.  You can watch it here on the blog or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

Have a great weekend everyone and I'll see you back here soon!!

Altenew - Halftone Circles Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Hope you're having a great day.  I'm back sharing with you a quick tutorial on making your own background paper. If you ever run into the issue of not having the right paper, make your own.  It's really easy to do and it's totally your own style.

So here is a card I made using the Altenew Halftone Circles stamp set.  I've kept the colors toned down with shades of gray yet I gave it a punch with a pop of red.  This is by far one of my favorite color combos.

As you can see the card is still very clean and simple, I've let the stamp set do the work for me. The design is graphic yet very open and airy.

Now onto the tutorial.  Grab your favorite beverage and relax.  You can watch the tutorial here on my blog or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  Enjoy!

Have a great day everyone.  I'll see you back here soon!

Unicorn Spit Galaxy Background Has Landed On My Card

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  As many of you know who follow me on Periscope, I love making backgrounds for my cards.  I used unicorn spit to make this one.  Yes, I said unicorn spit.  If you don't know what unicorn spit is, I've added a Youtube link to their channel. This stuff is magical.  I used it on some yupo paper and created this background. I paired it with this adorable stamp from Gerda Steiner called Blast Off.

This adorable little astronaut and his space ship were colored up with Copic markers.  The sentiment I pulled from an Altenew stamp set.  I just love the background the unicorn spit created for my card. It's like a really cool galaxy.  I splattered on a bit of white unicorn spit to add in some stars and space matter. Before it dried a sprinkled on a little bit of extra fine glitter.

Here's a closeup of this adorable astronaut in his space suit.  Who would of thought unicorn spit and an astronaut would look so cute together.  LOL I love the look on his face.

If you would like me to make a video sharing how I made this background, leave a comment below and if I get enough interest I'll do a tutorial. I'm joining in on the Corrosive Challenge and Stamping Sensations blog challenges.  Have a great day everyone.  See ya back here soon.
