Last Christmas Card Tutorial for 2017

Hey peeps.  Well this is it!!  My last Christmas card tutorial for 2017.  I really don't know where this year has disappeared to.  It seems like I blinked and it was gone.  I'm blessed to say that I made it through so far. (wink wink).  Only a week and some change and this year is over.

For my last tutorial I thought I would end with a shaker card.  I really challenged myself to make some last minute interactive cards so I can swing in the new year keeping up that trend.  The more I do them the less I'm afraid of them.  LOL  I used the adorable Santa's Wonderland from Neat & Tangled and the Stitched Collage Frame from My Favorite Things to make this shaker card.  I've listed all the products I used below.  You can easily make any kind of shaker card with this die cut.  This one will be used a ton as I'm already in love with it.

Here's a quick tutorial on how this shaker came together.  You can watch it right here on my blog or over on my YT channel mzdanajoy.  I have links below using affiliate links however there is no additional cost to you.

Have a great Monday everyone.  As I stated I will not be posting anymore tutorial until the beginning of the year but I will have some Christmas and winter inspiration here on the blog.  Hugs to you all!

Neat & Tangled Hooray Rainbow Card - Tutorial

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone had a safe weekend.  I'm back with a quick tutorial sharing some rainbow fun with the Neat & Tangled Hooray stamp set and the medium dots stencil from Simon Says Stamp.  I love making backgrounds for cards and this one might be one of my favs to date.  I love anything that is rainbow colored and happy!!  (Please excuse the photo today.  It's been rainy here for days in Florida so in door lighting it was.  Ugh the struggles of photography.)  LOL  However the tutorial will make up for it. ;-)

Speaking of tutorials here it is.  You can watch it here or in HD on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I have also included a link for your shopping pleasure. These are affiliate links but are used at no cost to you.

Have a great day everyone and I'll see you back here soon!

When Your Chicken Is A Little Salty...

Hey peeps.  Happy hump day.  I'm sharing a super funny card. (WARNING...this is a little risky on the language so proceed with caution).  Okay now that my public service announcement is made (LOL) I'll share my card with you.

My oldest sister turned 50 last week so of course I had to make her a card.  But not just any ole' card something on the outrageous side.  Because that's how we roll.  So I pulled out the Neat and Tangled Eggstra Special stamp set and paired it with the Salty Ladies stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and this is what happened.  (LMBO)  Now I couldn't just have the chicken just looking all cute.  I had to dress him up (or rather pimp him out) just a little bit.

I pulled out a hat stamp from the Fleurette Bloom Three Little Pigs stamp set and altered it just a little.  Next I drew a cane and cut it out.  I made sure to add on some really cool shades and this cool chicken was ready for the card.

I paired him up with some fun emoji paper from Simple Stories and this card was done.  Oh for the white panel for my chicken to stand on I pulled out some distress inks and die cut out a cross stitched rectangle. Lastly I stamped the sentiment directly on the rectangle and for the OMG I stamped it in a trio of ink colors, fussy cut it out and popped it up on foam tape.

I mean come on, this is one hip chicken.  I FaceTimed with my sister prior to sending her this card and she LOVED it.  She was cracking up laughing and said she wanted to married him.  Now that's when I know I've made her a great card.  LOL

That's a wrap today peeps.  I'll see you guys back here soon!!

Allow Faith To Be Your Guide

Hey peeps.  Wow has it been a busy morning.  Finally had a moment to relax and get my card loaded for the Neat And Tangled challenge.  Between running around with my daughter this morning and trying to get organized in my stamp room I'm tired.  I have been a creative soul lately so my room looked like a bomb went off.
