Hey peeps. Happy Friday. I'm back with another product from the new release from Pink and Main. I thought a little bit of gold embossing was in order today since this stamp set is so pretty and detailed. It's such a beautiful stamp set that can really stand on it's own without any coloring.
I kept this card very simple and just used gold embossing powder to make the card today. Adding just a few gold sequin was all this card needed for the finishing touch.

Thanks for hanging out with me today. I hope you have a great weekend. See you back here next week.
Hey peeps. Thanks for all the comments last week on my Catherine Pooler post for her blog hop. As I mentioned on those post I am in LOVE with her ink collections. So today I'm going to share a tutorial on 3 ways to use Catherine Pooler inks with a stencil. It's super easy to get more use out of inks. Also you can get a great mix of hues out of one ink pad.
Here are three cards made with the something borrowed ink pad. Stretch those ink colors by mixing the ink directly into different mediums. I used the Folk Dance stencil and the Yay stamp set for my from Simon Says Stamp for this technique. I also used the Catherine Pooler Tiara ink to stamp out the sentiment and to ink up a piece of bristol paper to add a nice contrasting strip of paper on my card panel.
For the first card I stenciled on the ink like I normally would.
For this card I mixed the ink with whipped spackle.
For this card I mixed the ink in with translucent embossing paste.

Hey peeps. Sorry I've been MIA. Haven't been feeling well. But I'm coming around the bend. I'm back with a video to share with you. I've mentioned before that I've been taking some classes on Online Card Classes. I LOVE these classes for several reasons.
Hey peeps. Is everyone having a great day? There's a new sketch up over at Splitcoaststampers AND a new video up on my Youtube Channel. I wanted to share with all of you how I made this card. You don't have to have tons of paper and tons of ink pads to get a remarkable card.
Hey peeps. Wow has it been a busy morning. Finally had a moment to relax and get my card loaded for the Neat And Tangled challenge. Between running around with my daughter this morning and trying to get organized in my stamp room I'm tired. I have been a creative soul lately so my room looked like a bomb went off.
Hey peeps. Yesterday I posted a card with a very similar background. I thought I would make you a little tutorial to show you how it was done. It's super easy and doesn't require a lot of effort or time. All you need is some paper, an embossing folder and acrylic paint. I'll stop running my mouth and show you the video. :-)
Have a great day everyone. If you have any questions, just let me know in the comments section of the video.
