The Daily Marker 8th 30 Day Color Challenge and Simon Says Stamp School or Study Challenge

Happy Friday everyone.  Whew the title of this post is a mouth full.  I'm super excited to be kicking off September with Kathy of The Daily Marker and her eighth 30-Day color challenge.  I LOVE doing these color challenge as it really makes me fall back in love all over again with coloring.  To see more details you can head on over to Kathy's blog.

Today I'm also making a card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday (School or Study related) card challenge.  As I watch the little kiddos walk to school each morning I'm inspired to know that they will be learning something new today that they can come back home and share with their parents.  I'm all about education and learning. :-)  For my card this morning, I used some older products.  I used a stamp from Verve to make my paper, the scrambled letters stencil from Simon Says Stamp to make my embossed background and I colored one of the images from the Smarty Pants stamp set from Kraftin Kimmie.  I hand wrote the wording on the sheets of paper.

Kraftin' Kimmie Release Day Is Here

I  just loved how this card came out.  I just let my little guy swing away on my card.  I colored him with Copic markers and paper pieced.  Using just a simple layout really made my elf the feature of my card.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Week - Day 4 Daddy O

Hey peeps we are at day 4.  Let's get this party started.  Can you believe we aren't even HALF way through all of the NINE new stamp sets we are releasing?! This is going to be an AMAZING holiday release....you have no idea!

We've got a fabulous stamp set featuring the patriarch of the family and he's putting the star on the top of the Christmas tree! It's a lovely large image plus four coordinating sentiments! This is a fabulous image for your holiday cards.

Here's my card.  I watercolored it and used some shimmer mist and enamel dots to add some texture to the tree.  Pairing it with some plaid paper was a must.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Week - Day 3 Shaking It Up Polar Bear

Hey hey peeps.  Back again with another sneak peek for you.  How's ready for an adorable polar bear hunt? Well we don't have to hunt far, they are on my card!!  LOL They are just too darn cute and lovable.

This sweet little 4x4 clear stamp set is full of roly poly polar bear images with lots of accessories and gorgeous sentiments! You can use it on it's own or in addition to the Shake It Up snow globe stamp set from yesterday's peeks for an endless combination of possibilities!! There's a total of SIXTEEN stamp sets in this adorable set!

 For my card, my little guys are just chillin' in the snow relaxing.  I sprayed on my blue sky with Copic markers and stamped my cute polar bears in pairs on my card.  Next I stamped a few trees and added some shading on the snow banks with my Copic markers.  Of course I had to add some glitter to sparkle things up.

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek Week - Day 2 Shake It Up

Hey peeps.  So are you excited to see more of the upcoming release from Kraftin Kimmie?  Next up is the adorable Shake It Up stamp set.  I just adore the possibilities of this set. I see a sled full of shaker cards!

This sweet 4x6 clear stamp set features a fabulous snow globe, of course! Plus adorable animals, accessory stamps, sentiments and more with a total of EIGHTEEN stamps for an endless combination of design possibilities!  This set was the add-on option for the Surprise Kit preorders a couple of months ago so you'll get to see some extra peeks from our krafty kustomers as you hop around the blogs today!

Here is my card.  So of course I needed to make a shaker card.  LOL I stamped one of the sentiments inside the globe and added a ton of sequins.  I stamped the globe a second time and cut out the base of the globe in gold.  To finish up the card I added one of the adorable reindeer and a few presents.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek Week - Day 1 Santa Paws

Hey peeps.  I'm so excited to be participating in the September release for Kraftin' Kimmie stamps.  I have been a HUGE HUGE fan for Kim and her amazing stamp line.  To have a chance to play along with her and the talented ladies on her team is an honor.  I will sneak peek and Periscope the upcoming release all week.  If you want to see these stamps up close and personal, make sure you follow me on Periscope @mzdanajoy.  

So let's get started. We're kicking things off with this cutie patootie stamp set by artist, Emilie Goulet for all you animal lovers! We certainly can't forget them at Christmastime! This set features two ADORABLE images plus three coordinating stamp sets at it's called SANTA PAWS!

Here is my card using this adorable stamp set. I colored my image up with Copic markers and diecut it with a stitched square die. Pairing it with some soft holiday paper and my card was complete.  I kept my card clean so my image would pop.

Hey peeps.  Let's start the day off with a selfie.  LOL  How was everyone's Halloween?  We didn't seem to have as many kids as we usually do so we have TONS of candy left over.  And I MUST get it out of the house.  I really need to stop buying my favorite candy so when there is some left over I'm not diving in head first.
