Hey peeps. We are down to the wire on the holiday card series. I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired by the videos you have seen this year. Today we are doing some light watercoloring and using a beautiful stamp set from Mama Elephant called Joy Ornaments. I can't believe I'm already to day 11 and having used a stamps set with my last name on it. 😉 I have an additional video using these inexpensive watercolor palettes from Amazon. You can see it here on my Hero Arts August 2018 Card Kit video.

Thanks for watching and we will wrap up the card series next week. I have a few sneak peeks to share with you tomorrow from Technique Tuesday.
Hey peeps. Happy Monday!! I'm still in the watercoloring mood. I pulled out my zig clean color real brush markers and the Mama Elephant Pretty Lovely stamp set to create a very pretty clean and simple card for you today. I really love watercoloring. I have said it before it's so freeing to me to express my craft through it.
So for today's tutorial I loosely colored this gorgeous flower using just a few markers and my silver black #2 brush. These are my favorite brushes to watercolor with.

Have a fantastic Monday everyone. I'll see you back here soon!!
Hey peeps. I'm back to creating in my room after being in Phoenix having a great time. I missed you guys and I'm ready to make some magic again. Before Creativation I was playing with the Daniel Smith iridescent watercolor paints and I hated to leave them on my craft table. OMG they are GORGEOUS. They react differently on white/light and black/dark cardstock. To me it's straight magic. I had to share a tutorial today to show you just how pretty these watercolor paint are.
So here is the card I made using three of the colors. The colors I used were Duochrome Mauve, Duochrome Violet Pearl and Duochrome Autumn Mystery. I'm actually going to give this card to my wonderful husband as today is his birthday. Happy happy birthday to the man I will love for the rest of my life. ❤️😍😘
Aren't these color just gorgeous together? Oh they just make me so stinking' happy! 😊

Hey peeps. I've been busy in my stamp room making videos and cards. I'll have some of the videos up this week. But while I was there I made a card for the Mojo Monday challenge. Man, it's been ages since I've played along with their challenge. What a great way to start the week.
I love these little critters from Mama Elephant. They are from the Three Amigos stamp set. I colored them quickly with Copic markers and used some Echo Park paper to finish up my card. I love the sketch this week from Mojo Monday because my little guys get to be the showcase of my card.
Thanks for swinging by today. I'll see you guys back here later in the week. With a video....ummmm possibly! LOL yup I'll have a video for you.
Hey peeps. Happy Friday everyone. It's time for me to unplug for the weekend. The family is heading to Florida to hang out with one of my best friends. We always have such a great time spending time with him and his family. And it's time for me to get my summer tan. LOL So before I unplug, I have one last card for you. I joined in over at Mama Elephant, Little Tangles and The Card Concept challenges before I closed my stamp room door. I decided to go with a clean and simple card.
I wish everyone a happy and SAFE weekend. Make time this weekend to enjoy the simple things in life. Time goes too fast not to.
Hey peeps. I've had a moment to get into my stamp room and create a card. I participated in the Featured Stampers challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. The lovely Lisa Young is being honored today. Huge congrats to you Lisa.
For my card I used the Fair Feathers stamp set from Mama Elephant. I am in love with this set. All the sentiments are in a gorgeous font. Here are three of the four feathers that come in the set as well. Swoon...my heart be still. I used Hero Arts Silver and Memento Luxe Rhubarb Stalk as my ink today along with Versa Fine Onyx black.
See those enamel dots? I made them all by myself. I saw a pin on Pinterest on how to make them using Perlr Beads. Well I got busy and made a ton of them. Don't think I'll need to be making any special purchases for the basic colors of enamel dots. Happy shuffle! ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I'll see ya soon!
