Hey peeps. It's day 12 of my holiday card series and it's the last day of inspiration for this year. I am so happy that you joined in on the first 11 days and I'll hope you have been inspired. This year I decided to make a personal video for day 12 as I never show my face on Youtube. LOL. I know I'm trying to get better at this.
Anyway, head on over to my Youtube channel to check out the video and all the details for the giveaway.
Have a great day everyone and I'll see you back here soon.
Hey peeps. We are down to the wire on the holiday card series. I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired by the videos you have seen this year. Today we are doing some light watercoloring and using a beautiful stamp set from Mama Elephant called Joy Ornaments. I can't believe I'm already to day 11 and having used a stamps set with my last name on it. 😉 I have an additional video using these inexpensive watercolor palettes from Amazon. You can see it here on my Hero Arts August 2018 Card Kit video.

Hey peeps. Holiday Card Series 2018 Day 10 is upon us and this one might just be my favorite. Instead of doing a card today I'm sharing with you a holiday treat to give out to family and friends. The Pot Bellies from Papertrey Ink is such a cute little die cut to make the cutest little treat holders.
These little penguins are so easy to put together and making them in different colors is the perfect way to indiviualize them for your recipients. There is also a Santa and I think a reindeer available over at Papertrey Ink.

Hey everyone. There is no stamping required for day 8 of the holiday card series. Clean and simple with die cutting is the way we are mass producing this cards. Grab yourself a funky holiday tree and a simple sentiment and you can assemble your trees and sentiments while watching the Sunday football games. (Just sayin' for all my football fans this is multi tasking at it's finest 😉) I'm using the Simon Says Stamp Deco Tree and sentiment dies for my card today.

Hey peeps. We are on Day 6 of the Holiday Card Series. My card today will be featuring Concord & 9th again as I'm so in love with their Christmas and Winter themed products. I'm using the Ornamental stamp and die bundle and some sparkly paper.
This die will fit the front of a card panel with little room to spare and that's what's so great about it. It can be the key element to you card with little work. Add a simple sentiment and you are done.

Hey peeps. I hope you have been enjoying the tutorials I have so far for you. Today is Day 5 of the Holiday Card Series 2018. I'm sharing a really cool stamp set and die bundle from Concord & 9th today. I LOVE how this card turned out as it's dimensional and super cute to boot. If you missed any of the card series to day you can find all the videos here.
This card will fit into to a regular size A2 card envelope however, when the recipient opens it, it will pop up and stand on it's own. Such a cool way to wow a recipient. The stamp set and dies are called Christmas Cottage. There are a few measurements you need to be aware of. You will need three pieces measuring 5 x 3 and one measuring 6.75 x 4.25. Now if I totally just confused you, it looks like this. This is cut from a 8.50 X 11 piece of cardstock.
If you are using designer paper (which is lighter paper for any of these pieces, make sure to adhere them to a stronger cardstock so that the card holds up. I'll share this with you in the tutorial.

Have a great day everyone. I'll see you back here on Friday with another card for the holiday card series.
Hey peeps. It's Monday and I'm back with the Holiday Card Series 2018 - Day 4. I'm so excited to share with you an easy technique to produce really great cards. No stamping required for this one and it's easy to mass product.
For my card today I'm using foil, scor-tape and a large graphic die cut to make quick, fast and a hurry cards. You can pull out any color foil for this project and any width scor-tape. The design concept is easy to follow and you can change it up anyway you want.
Pairing the foil with a light sheet of vellum tones down the harshness and adding glitter paper for the sentiment really makes this card stand out.

Hey peeps. Happy Friday. Today is Day 3 of my Holiday Card Series for 2018. I'm super excited to share this card with you today as I love everything that is sparklie and embossed. So let's see what's in store for you today.
I'm playing with some Nuvo glitter paste and Comic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish. Using these two products together helps to create beautiful cards. You can use any stencil of your liking with these products just make sure to clean your stencil off immediately after use as well as your palette knife.
I mean look at this sparkle!! Using this stencil really allowed me to keep this card simple but achieve a dramatic look all at once. Keeping the sentiment simple with the Scripty Xmas stamp set from Mama Elephant is the way to go with this kind of design.
