Hey peeps.  We are on Day 6 of the Holiday Card Series.  My card today will be featuring Concord & 9th again as I'm so in love with their Christmas and Winter themed products. I'm using the Ornamental stamp and die bundle and some sparkly paper.

This die will fit the front of a card panel with little room to spare and that's what's so great about it.  It can be the key element to you card with little work.  Add a simple sentiment and you are done.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you back here soon for day 7.

Holiday Card Series 2018 - Day 5

Hey peeps.  I hope you have been enjoying the tutorials I have so far for you.  Today is Day 5 of the Holiday Card Series 2018. I'm sharing a really cool stamp set and die bundle from Concord & 9th today.  I LOVE how this card turned out as it's dimensional and super cute to boot. If you missed any of the card series to day you can find all the videos here.

This card will fit into to a regular size A2 card envelope however, when the recipient opens it, it will pop up and stand on it's own.  Such a cool way to wow a recipient.  The stamp set and dies are called Christmas Cottage.  There are a few measurements you need to be aware of.  You will need three pieces measuring 5 x 3 and one measuring 6.75 x 4.25.  Now if I totally just confused you, it looks like this. This is cut from a 8.50 X 11 piece of cardstock.

If you are using designer paper (which is lighter paper for any of these pieces, make sure to adhere them to a stronger cardstock so that the card holds up.  I'll share this with you in the tutorial.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

Have a great day everyone.  I'll see you back here on Friday with another card for the holiday card series.

Holiday Card Series 2018 - Day 4

Hey peeps.  It's Monday and I'm back with the Holiday Card Series 2018 - Day 4.  I'm so excited to share with you an easy technique to produce really great cards.  No stamping required for this one and it's easy to mass product.

For my card today I'm using foil, scor-tape and a large graphic die cut to make quick, fast and a hurry cards.  You can pull out any color foil for this project and any width scor-tape.  The design concept is easy to follow and you can change it up anyway you want.

Pairing the foil with a light sheet of vellum tones down the harshness and adding glitter paper for the sentiment really makes this card stand out.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

If you've missed days 1-3, you can catch them here on my Holiday Card Series 2018 playlist.

Concord & 9th October Release Crafty Turnabout Bundle

Hey peeps.  Its my last day guest designing for Concord & 9th.  It has been sure a pleasure working with Angie and the crew.  For today's card I used the new Crafty Turnabout stamp set and coordinating dies.  OMG can I tell you how much I love this stamp set?  It is so super fun to play with and I have a ton of color combos I want to make with it.

For my first card I used shades of green, pink, yellow and orange to keep my card bright and cheerful.

For my second card I chose to go a little cooler with my colors and use gray, orange and two shades of blue.  This stamp set is so easy to use and as you can see it makes amazing cards.

Concord & 9th October Release All Season Turnabout Stamp Set

Hey peeps.  Welcome back to another Concord & 9th October Release post.  Today I'm sharing a few products with you.  First we have the All Seasons Turnabout stamp set.  I paired this along with the Notable Numbers stamps and coordinating die cut to make this card.

For my background I stamped the turnout stamp four times so create this soft background in barely beige ink on fog cardstock.  Next I stamped the happy birthday in caribbean blue on the panel using my Misti to curve my birthday stamp.  I used the Notable Numbers stamps and coordinating die cuts for the 18 which was stamped in cobblestone ink.  The "th" was stamped directly on the card panel. I layered this on light navy cardstock and added some sequin before putting it all on a white card base. I also notched my birthday panel to add interest to the corners.

For my next project I used the new 2019 calendar along with the All Seasons Turnabout to make my decorative January calendar.  I stamped the images in Simon Says Stamp Caribean Blue, Barely Beige and Cobblestone inks.  For a pop of blue I used Catherine Pooler Stone Blue ink.  I used the monthly sentiments and the matching die cut to add the month to my calendar.

You can see this calendar sitting on a cute easel.  This easel was made with the new easel die from Concord & 9th.  This die is so easy to use to create wonderful and colorful easels.  You can also use it to display cards as I have done in the photos above.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to head on over to Concord & 9th to see the other beautiful projects that have for you today.

Concord & 9th October Release Notable Numbers

Happy Friday everyone.  I'm back with another guest post from Concord & 9th.  Today I'm sharing with you the Notable Numbers bundle.  This is such a beautiful stamp and die set.  I love the design of these numbers and the font used to create it.

I had to make a card with the number 29 because I have a friend who will remain 29 for the rest of her life.  ðŸ˜‚ I stamped out the numbers in Versamark ink and heat embossed them with gold rush embossing powder.  I used the coordinating die cuts to cut each letter out.  Next I stamped out the top sentiment and bottom sentiment (bottom sentiment not part of this stamp set) in Versamark ink on black cardstock and also heat embossed it in gold rush embossing powder.  I trimmed the sentiments out using my paper trimmer.

I used some gold striped washi tape and place it on the top and bottom of the a white card base.  I used foam tape to popped up the sentiments and letters and adhered them to my card.  I added just a few black sequin and my card was complete.

Make sure to head on over to the Concord & 9th blog to check out what the other guest designers have in store for you today.  Have a wonderful day everyone.

Concord & 9th October Release Songbird Stamp Set

Hey peeps.  I'm super excited to say I'm a guest designer for Concord & 9th this month.  The October release is one of my favorites and I'm loving working with all the new products. Today's card I'm featuring the Songbird stamp set.  This set is one of my favorite to watercolor.  The larger image and beautiful design really makes it easy to color.  Copic markers, color pencils and even pastels would be gorgeous with this image.

For my card I pulled out my Daniel Smith watercolors to color this image.  Next I used my color pencils to add some details to the image.  I decided to add detail to my background with a pretty stencil.  I stamped one of the sentiments on this panel and added some sequins.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up on foam tape.  Lastly I adhered this to a white card base.

Head on over to the Concord & 9th blog for more inspiration from guest designers and design team members.  Have a great day!
