Papertrey Ink Fawn and Flora Stamps and Dies

Hey peeps.  I'm finishing up some last minute cards for family and friends. I had purchased a few stamp sets last month from Papertrey Ink and I'm determined to use them before the holiday season is over.  So today I'm sharing the Fawn and Flora stamp and die set.  This is such a beautiful deer and it layers amazingly.

I used Memento inks in desert sand, new sprout, bamboo leaves, angel pink, ladybug, Lawn Fawn doe ink and Gina K Design amalgam inks.

After I die cut out this adorable deer I paired it up with some knit picky pattern paper from Lawn Fawn.  I stamped out the sentiment in versa mark ink and used white embossing powder to heat set. Lastly I added some homemade red enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll see you back here soon!

Holiday Card Series 2018 - Day 10

Hey peeps.  Holiday Card Series 2018 Day 10 is upon us and this one might just be my favorite.  Instead of doing a card today I'm sharing with you a holiday treat to give out to family and friends.  The Pot Bellies from Papertrey Ink is such a cute little die cut to make the cutest little treat holders.

These little penguins are so easy to put together and making them in different colors is the perfect way to indiviualize them for your recipients.  There is also a Santa and I think a reindeer available over at Papertrey Ink.

Here's a quick tutorial.  You can watch it here or over at my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've used affiliate links for your convenience at no cost to you.

This week from Thursday through Saturday I'll be sharing Technique Tuesday sneak peeks, so Holiday Card Series 2018 Day 12 will be posted next week.

Doodlie Do and A Flower For You

Hey peeps.  I'm back with a card.  I'm in between settling down and heading to help me daughter settle into her new place.  I had the chance to play around with the Zig Real Brush markers.  I REALLY like them.  I hesitated in purchasing them since I already have several brands of watercolor makers.  But I took the plunge and I'm glad I did.

I am in LOVE with this stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Doodlie-do!  Oh I  just LOVE these flowers and leaves.  The color combos that are in my head for this set are ridiculous!  LOL  I used the small hello die from Simon Says Stamp.  My computer is being a total butt head and won't let me link from SSS.

I die cut the main panel with the stitched circle die from MFT and popped it up with some foam as well as the hello die.  I think next time I'll use black fun foam behind my black sentiment.  With just a few sequin my card was done.  Yay!!  I'm going to enter my card into the following challenges: Craft Your Passion and Penny Black.  Glad you stopped by today.  I'll see you guys soon.

Go forth and be crafty~

MISTI Tutorial and Stamping Fun

Hey peeps.  I'm back with a quick video.  As you may know by now I'm in the mist of a big move and slightly limited on my stamping time but I did manage to upload a video I've been meaning to get out to all of my peeps.  Here is the card I made using the amazing MISTI tool.

I really liked making this card.  It was super easy to make and I love the colors.  I hope you enjoy the little video I've attached to show you how this all came together.

See you guys soon.  Go forth and be crafty~

Just Add Some Sprinkles

Hey peeps.  I'm finally back in my stamp room creating.  To be honest, it was so hard to get myself back in gear.  The holidays have had all my days looking like a blur.  I even looked at my calendar and thought "humm...where did Saturday go?"  I don't even remember seeing it.  LOL

Let's Get Sketchy + A VIDEO

Hey peeps.  Happy Wednesday.  Today's card is a special one.  I'm a HUGE thing of glitter, sparkles, sequins and gems.  You might now see them all the time on my cards but I love anything that sparkles. :-)  So when Papertrey Ink came out with  a card kit that had tons of sparkle I had to have it.

I'm made a video for you to take a peek into what I received in this kit from Papertrey Ink. I'm not sure if this is still available but if you can get your hands on this set, you are going to love it.

But if you can't get your hands on this kit, you can use products you have on hand to make a great shaker card.  This layout for my card today is from the new weekly sketch over at Splitcoaststampers.  Come join in on the fun.  Okay, let's take a look at the video. :-)

Hope you enjoyed my video today.  Don't forget to like subscribe to my YouTube channel so you won't miss out on anything.  Have a fantastic day everyone!

Hugs and love~

It's Sketch Time - SCS485

Hey peeps.  Well another hump day is upon us so that means it's sketch time over at Splitcoaststampers.  I just received my new goodies from the Papertrey Ink newest release.  I'm in love.  That's all I can say!.  LOL

For my card I used the Phrase Play #3 mini set along with the matching die.  I love the font on this die cut and the little window below for you to add your sentiment.  SOOO cute!
The paper I used is from the Simon Says Stamp February card kit.  Oh, and those little enamel dots...yup my homemade ones.  They match perfect with the papers in the kit.

I'm off to go inventory all my new goodies.  This way I can stay organized when I'm in a mad dash to make a card.  Swing back by later to see what else my "wallet" purchased. ;-)

Hugs and love~
