Hey peeps. Back today with a quick birthday card.  My sweet Aunt just turned 80 years young.  Oh to live such a long and blessed life.  She loves flowers so I made her this card using an older set from Altenew called Persian Motifs.  It's one of my favorite go to flower stamp sets.  I stamped them with versa mark and then heat embossed them in gold.  Next I watercolored the flowers so they would be soft and light on my card. I used Picked Raspberry and Cracked Pistachio distress ink.  I made sure I watered them down plenty to get the soft effect. I cut them out and then glued them to the card base.

I used some Little B washi tape down the side to give it a touch of elegance.  I used the Big Scripty Greetings from Simon Says Stamp.  Stamping it in the Brutus Monroe detail ink really made it stand out.  Of course I needed to add some colorful sequin to finish off my card.

Lettuce Celebrate

Happy Monday peeps.  I have been up for hours.  Couldn't sleep so I decided to make a card instead.  I just got this adorable set called Calorie Free and couldn't wait to make a card.  I think this is the cutest stamp set.  There are so many great sayings I'm sure I'll find a ton of ways to get this stamp set worn out.  LOL

Already, I'm outta here.  I have some errands to run and then maybe a swing by the spa.  I think I need a massage. ;-)  I'm entering my card into the Color Your World and Crafty Calendar and Seize The Birthday challenges.

Hey peeps.  I can't believe we are already to Wednesday.  I think the older I get the faster my life goes by.  Does anyone else feel that way?  Or I'm still stuck in post holiday time.  Like I said yesterday I feel like all my days have been a blur.

Hey peeps.  I'm finally back in my stamp room creating.  To be honest, it was so hard to get myself back in gear.  The holidays have had all my days looking like a blur.  I even looked at my calendar and thought "humm...where did Saturday go?"  I don't even remember seeing it.  LOL
