Critter Valentine

Click HERE for blog hop post.

Hey peeps.  I'm back with a super quick card.  I've been sick the past two days and haven't had the strength to make any cards.  But I'm back with enough energy today to get crafty.  So here's a card I made for several challenges.

I love this little guy from the Simon Says Stamp Monsters Hug stamp set.  This is an older set and its a go to for me when I make Valentine's Day cards.  He so super cute to color.  I used the sketch from this week's challenge over at Splitcoaststampers and the color is from the Color Throwndown challenge.  I'm also going to enter my card into the Wednesday Simon Says Stamp challenge.  Wow, one card, three challenges.  Go Dana!!  LOL I've linked the products I used below.  The pack of Recollection Valentine paper I had is no longer available so I used a substitute in my links.

Gotta go catch up on some things since I've been in the bed for two days.  I mean, things really add up when you're NOT up!  LOL  Hugs to you all.

Go forth and be crafty~

Coffee...MORE PLEASE

Hey peeps.  I know I keep saying I'm down to my last card but I just can't seem to stop.  LOL  Jessica from Jessica Lynn Original was sweet enough to share this cute image for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  This little fella is called Barista Brentwood Owl.  I love this cute owl holding this very large coffee cup.  And best of all it's still FREE to download.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set called Coffee Time.

Here's a closeup.  I used a clear sparkle pen from Spectrum Noir to add some shimmer to my cup. I'm in LOVE with these new pens.

Okay, gotta run.  I have a few more gifts to wrap and some reindeer chow to make for munching later.  Have a fabulous day everyone.

Go forth and be crafty~

Just Be Happy

Hey peeps.  I've had a chance to get back in my stamp room this morning to make a card.  I felt the "need" to participate in a few challenges.  Yes, the "NEED" to.  LOL  I was dreaming of stamping last night so I thought I better get it out of my head. :-)

This card is for the multiple challenges.  When you are joining in on challenges, it a great way to multi-task and make one card to meet several needs.  I used two of my favorite stamp sets from My Favorite Things Contemporary Roses and Chalkboard Greetings.  Sooooo, I'm sending this card over to the following challenges:

My Favorite Things (Sketch)
Color Thrown Down (Color)
Cute Card Thursday (Perfectly Pink)

Well peeps I have some serious organization to do so I better get at it.  Have a fabulous Friday everyone and best wishes for a fantastic weekend.

Hugs and love~

Happiness is Sweet

Hey peeps.  Back with another challenge card.  I hate that summer is ending and fall is just about to begin.  So I thought I would make one more card with a summer image from Mo's Digital Pencil and join in on their "layers" challenge.  This little one reminds me of  the summer time treat kids love....ICE CREAM!!  And I must say it's not just for the kiddos.  I rather have ice cream for dinner instead of a meal. But I can because I'm GROWN.  LOL

Anyway the colors for my card came from the Color Throwdown Challenge (melon mambo, barely banana, peach parfait and gable green).  I think I might have nailed this one. :-)

Thanks for swing by my place today.  See ya back here soon.

Hugs and love~

Swing By

Hey peeps.  Glad you had a chance to swing by my blog today.  I'm taking a needed break and relaxing in my stamproom.  It's really too hot here in Georgia.  Can't really enjoy being outside until 8pm.  Anyway, thought I would participate in a few challenges today.  Today's card is heading over to the MFT sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown challenge.  I have seen these Pure Innocence images paper pieced ALOT so I thought my little one could use a plaid dress.  I have to say I really do like to paper piece.  Note to self...do it more often.

Thanks for swinging by today.  Hope everyone is keeping off their week in fabulous style.

Hugs and love~
