Technique Tuesday - May Release

Hey peeps.  It's release day over at Technique Tuesday.  I'm sharing with you one of the newest masculine stamps and crafty die cuts I think you are going to love.  The Gears On The Border is the perfect addition to your Father's Day cards this year.  It works perfectly with the What a Guy stamp set and What A Guy Crafty Dies as well.

This fantastic crafty die cut set has a border piece and a gear piece. They work seamlessly with each other.  For my gear piece I gave my paper a patina look before I die cut it out and then added a few coats of cooper embossing powder.  I stamped my sentiment onto a white piece of cardstock and heat embossed it with cooper embossing powder.  Then I ran it through my Bigshot with a textured embossing folder.  I really love the whole feel of this card.

You can piece up the entire May release TODAY in the Technique Tuesday shop. I've linked today products below for your convenience.  Have a great day everyone.  See you back here soon!

2017 Holiday Card Series - Day 2 Blending Distress Oxide Inks And Nature

Hey everyone.  I hope you're having an amazing day.  Are you ready for day two of the holiday card series?  If you missed day one, you can check it out here.  So let's see what I have in store for you today.

This year I really needed some masculine cards to add to my holiday stash.  I decided to pull out some cool tone nature shade distress oxide inks and a cool die from Technique Tuesdays and have a little bit of watercoloring fun.  Now this card is really one of my favorite of this year.  I love the way these tress turned out.  I'm really addicted to this gorgeous way of mixing the colors together to achieve such an amazing color blend with the distress oxide inks.  I used the Halftone Holidays stamp from Altenew with some beautiful shades of green ink from Altenew as well.

Look at those lovely shades of blue, green, olive and brown.  If you don't have the distress oxide inks yet, oh you MUST add them to your stash.

You can watch the tutorial here on my blog or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.  I've listed all the products below for your shopping convenience. I have used affiliate links however there is no cost to you.

Okay everyone that wraps up day 2.  See you back here on Friday for day 3.  Have a great day!
