House of Cards Butterflies and Color Combo Challenge.

Hey peeps.  It's the first of the month!  Yup, time for another House of Cards challenge.  This month our challenge is a two part challenge.  You can follow the color combo and or the theme.  Let me show you the inspiration piece.

I decided to take inspiration for both and made this card. I love the whimsical touch of adding the butterfly to my card.  It worked perfectly with this beautiful ribbon and sassy colored image.

Here's a little closeup of my colored image.  I think she's so sassy!  LOL  I hope you'll take the time and join in on our challenge.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Get Your Enamel Dots Out

Hey peeps.  I hope your wintery days are coming to an end.  Here is Georgia the cold weather is just beginning to end and spring is in the air.  Finally I think I might be able to open up my windows and let some fresh air in.

It is the first of the month so you all know it's time for another challenge over at House Of Cards.  This month's theme is to use your enamel dots.  You can use any color you want.  Also, if you've made your own enamel dots we would love to hear from you.

Here is a link to a post I had where I made my own enamel dots.  I used the enamel dots I made on this tag.  They were super easy to make and you can make them sooo many colors.  That's what I love about making them myself.

Now it's your turn to show us how you use your enamel dots.  They are everywhere now and they are used in so many different ways.  So please join in on the fun.  Make sure to link your card up over at House of Cards so we can leave you some love.

Hey peeps.  It's a new month so you know what that means.  It's challenge time over at House of Cards.  Your projects from last month were STUNNING!  You guys are so darn talented.  The theme this month of course is....

Here is my card for this month's love challenge.  I keep it really simple so the sentiment could be the star of my card.  This card is for my #1 fan MY HUBBY!  He has always been my biggest cheerleader in all my stamping madness.

I gotta run peeps.  I have a ton of projects I'm working on for my hubby's upcoming retirement.  I'm up to my elbows in paper, glitter, glue and ribbon.  See everyone soon.

House Of Cards Glitter Challenge - I'm on the DT!!!

Hey everyone.  I hope you all are ready for a fantastic and fabulous year.  Mine is starting off rather well I must say.  I have a HUGE announcement to make.  I'm on the House of Cards Design Team.  Woot, woot!!!  I am so happy to be designing cards for this amazing team.  The challenges they share each month are amazing and the design team members are ubber talented.

Here is the challenge inspiration.  You all know, I love me some glitter so this challenge started off the new year fabulously. And this color combination might just be my new fav.

Here is my first card as a HOC design team member.

I made my own glitter background by using some red line tape to make some stripes and then layered on different colors of glitter. I will say that I'm now glittered up for the evening.  LOL  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  I hope you will head on over to the HOC blog and check out what the other members have for you.

Hugs and love~

Hey Rudolph~ House of Cards DT Call

Hey peeps.  I hope everyone is doing well this wonderful Sunday.  I've finished with most of my holiday cards.  Now I'm just making the ones for my hubby and kids.  I found out that House of Cards was having a DT call so I said I decided to knock two projects out at once.  Gotta do that sometimes when you are in crunch mode.  LOL

Here is the inspiration piece from House of Cards.  This is such a lovely pic.  Really wish my house would look at festive all year long.  LOL I have to say I'm partial to this color combo since my family room is done in the same color scheme.

Here is my card using the above photo for inspiration.

I finally broke down and downloaded a flying reindeer to my Silhouette.  This Echo Park image was 1/2 price last week.  Now I'm wondering why I didn't do this when I first started making cards.  LOL  So super easy to make multiple cards in a snap.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Big Holiday Wishes stamp set.  I used the SSS Falling Snow stencil along with some embossing paste to make the snow.  I added some moonshine sequin onto my card as well.  I mean you need a touch of sparkle to every holiday card. ;-) To finish up my card I used some silver metallic string.

Well, wish me luck peeps.  I gotta run.  Still have to make a Christmas tree out of little boxes for some gift to my hubby.  I'll catch you guys back here soon!

Hugs and love~
