Center Cut Flowers Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday.  I'm back with another tutorial using one of the center cut background stamps from Simon Says Stamp. This one is the Center Cut Flowers.  If you've missed my video using the Center Cut Burst tutorial you can find it here.

For my card today I used just the inside of the flower to make a final Mother's Day card.  The center part of this background stamp really kept the focus on the beautiful cluster of flowers. I used a simple mother sentiment from the Altnew Penned Rose stamp set and just a few sequin to finish off my card.

For my coloring medium I'm using the Arteza Real Brush Pens today.  I love using these watercolor pens as it makes coloring very easy and relaxing.  I was dealing with a wicked migraine so really need something to focus on to ease the pain.

Technique Tuesday Mother's Day Gift Card Holder

Hey peeps.  I hope you're having an awesome day.  I'm in my craft room finishing up some Mother's Day projects.  I pulled out my Just Us Girls stamp set from Technique Tuesday and colored up some of the images to make a gift card holders.

I colored the flowers with my Copic markers and die cut them with the Just Us Girls Crafting Dies.  I made sure to color a few extra flowers so I could pop up a few more for my holder.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the shape of the gift card holder. That make it super easy as I'm not very good at hand cutting out these shapes.  😂

I used the Technique Tuesday Flowers For Mom stamp set for the sentiment on this cute holder.  I LOVE the fonts on this set.  I popped my flowers onto the holder and added some matching ribbons to finish it off.

Simon Says Stamp Center Cut Burst Tutorial

Hey peeps.  Happy Friday.  Do you all make it through tax day okay?  What a beast of a year we had with taxes.  So glad it's over with.  While hubby worked on taxes I hid out in my stamp room playing with new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.  I'm going to share a new tutorial using the Center Cut Burst background stamp and the Bold Mom die cut.

InkOn3 April Release - Platy-rific Pondies and Pansies

Hey peeps.  Today I'm sharing the new Inkon3 April release.  The Platy-rific Pondies stamp set and Pansies stamps are now available for purchase along with the coordinating dies.  I'm so exciting that Inkon3 is now offering coordinating dies to some of the stamp sets with more to come.

For first two cards I'm using the Platy-rific Pondies stamp sets.  I adore this little images and they are so super cute to color.  My first card I created a scene with Copic markers and distress oxide inks for my little friends to hang out on.

For my second card I stamped out a background using the friends and then colored up one of the images and attached the balloon to him.  This one is my favorite as this little duck just makes my heart happy.  I kept the color palette color so I can use it for a cute baby card.

And for my Pansies card I used a brusho background I created some time ago and stamped on the beautiful floral image in juicy ink around the edge of this panel.  Next I stamped the mom sentiment and heat embossed everything in white embossing powder. To finish off this card I added just a few sequin to the center of the flowers and a glitter strip of purple paper behind this panel.

Altenew Mother's Day Card

Hey hey peeps.  Did you make your Mother's Day cards yet?  Well if you didn't you have about 24 hours to get it done.  LOL  I actually got my cards out in time.  Whew, that is a record.  This year I used the beautiful Peony Bouquet from Altenew.  I LOVE this stamp set.  Oh my word, I can't tell you have amazing this stamp set is.  I'm obsessed with it.  I thought I would show you guys how I put my card together.  I'm so going to play along with the Altenew video challenge as well. 

 

First let me show you my card.

Of course after I finished the card I decided to add some wink of stella to the peony.  It makes my flower just sparkle.  Okay here is the video. You can also watch it over on YouTube.

Well peeps, that's a wrap!  Now it's time for me to go pick out a Mother's Day gift.  Yup, the hubby and kids get me a present and then I get one for myself.  That's right I'm one heck of a Mommy.  LOL  Treat yourself right this year.  Have a fabulous Mother's Day everyone.

For All The Super Moms

Hey peeps.  Happy Wednesday.  Had a chance to get into my stamp room and participate in a few challenges.  Wanted to give an early shout out to all the wonderful Moms out there.  Go ahead and give yourself an applaud.  You ladies are super and I'm sure your kids know that!  If not, remind them on a daily basis.  LOL

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge

Morning peeps.  Hope you are having a great day.  Well today it's time for another Party Time Tuesdays Challenge.  This week's challenge is to make a card for Mother's Day.  Yep, it's this coming Sunday and we all know how great Mom's are.  Including me because I do believe I'm a great mom if I say so myself.  LOL
