Technique Tuesday Sneak Peek Day 2

Hey peeps.  It's Technique Tuesday sneak peek day 2.  If you missed yesterday's sneak peek day 1 you can click and see what I made.  We are just one day away from release day.  Today I'm sharing the beautiful Poinsettia stamp set. OH MY WORD I can't begin to tell you how much I loved creating this card.   This image is the perfect size to make beautiful watercolor card panels.

I started this card off by stamping the image randomly onto a piece of watercolor paper.  Next I carefully colored each image in bright pink watercolor.  I used an image I found on the internet to get the perfect color combo for this card.  I used two different watercolors on my card using the Dr. Ph Martin hydrus ink as well as my Daniel Smith watercolors.  After each flower was colored I created an ultra dark background to really make them pop.

I decided to add some white splatters using white gouache and a paint brush.  I just tapped on the end of my paint brush to make the splatters.  Just make sure if you do this is gouache is watered down well.  Then I set it aside to try.  Next I created a sentiment strip using vellum as I didn't want to stamp the sentiment directly on the card panel and wrapped it around my watercolored piece.  I adhered this to a white card base and all that was left was to add a few embellishments.

Easy Watercoloring With Pink and Main

Hey peeps.  Happy Saturday.  I have a new tutorial for you today using some of the newly released products from Pink and Main.  I'm doing some easy watercoloring to finish up my fall cards.  I know I've been on a roll with them lately but I love the change of seasons.

I used the Seasons Of Change stamps and diecuts along with the Wreath Base dies from Pink and Main.  They are available in the Pink and Main shop for your purchasing pleasure.

Florals For My Friends - FB Stamps

Hey hey peeps.  Happy Wednesday.  I'm back with a really quick card.  Fleurette Bloom has released some new stamps in here shop as well as a stencil for our enjoyment. If you have never heard of the FB Stamps line you are missing out.  Head on over to her store and check out all the amazing products she has. Today's card is mad with the Poppies stamp set.

Now for this card I chose not to use the large flower but to use the extra petals in the stamp set to create my own flower.  This was super easy to do and made a great border.  I first stamped my image and then watercolored it.  Next I added some gold marker touches and some wink of stella.  I stamped the sentiment and outlined it with the gold marker.  And to finish off my card I used some gold and black washi tape along with a few sequins.  I must say I really like how this card turned out.

Here is a closeup of my card.  You can really see the shine.  Oh I forgot to mention that I used the gold Finetec watercolor paint to outline my flowers.  Such a pretty card that came together in no time.  Gotta run you guys but I'll see you back here soon.  Working on some cards and videos to share with each of you.
