Stitching Time

Isn't there a rhyme about stitching time?  I swear I remember my grandmother saying something about it while sewing.  LOL  Anyway, Your Next Stamp is challenging you to stitch it up!!  Faux stitching, real stitching, whatever you like.  Beth has really shown us the meaning of  "stitching it up".  I used the adorable Snorkel Fun Penguin for my card. Don't have anything to stitch with?  Well Karen has a ton of stuff in the "sew easy" section in the store. You have plenty of time to get your order in and make a card. Woo hoo!!!

A Little Girl and Her Balloon

Finally!!  I never thought I would get to my stamp room today.  I was at work looking at all the gorgeous cards being made and I just couldn't wait to get home to my stamp room.  Today I'm placing my card in three challenges:

Planting A Garden With Digger!

Hey everyone.  I'm in the gardening mood something crazy!  My dear friend Jennifer gave me a garden for my birthday last year. I know your like "a garden?"  Yep, her family came to celebrate my birthday with me last year and in the back of their minivan was everything I needed to start a garden.  I was soooo HAPPY.  I just love to plant things and see them come to life.  That's why I hired Digger to help me start my weekend.  Isn't he just the cutest mole?  I just love his little hat and shovel.

Great news from YNS and It's Fishing Time

They Say It's Your Birthday....

Well, it's my birthday too!!  LOL  It's my birthday and my twin and I are celebrating.  Even though we can't be together today we always celebrate in spirit.  She doesn't know it but she's getting sunflowers and chocolate covered strawberries today.  And I got COPIC MARKERS!  Got to love the birthday choices.  Well, since it's a special day I participated in several challenges with this card.  This image so reminds me of my daughter.  She is ALWAYS wearing a hat titled to the side.  Oh, if I can only get that child in some heels.  LOL  This image is from Kenny K Girlz and she's called Brooklyn Babe.  I know my daughter will appreciate that since we are from right across the bridge in New Jersey.  I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Make It Sparkle YNSC#38

Welcome back!  Boy do I have a treat for you today.  Yep a super duper treat.  Don't you just love ice cream?  Especially in the summer.  Well I know it's not summer yet but spring is just around the corner so I'm indulging in my ice cream now.  LOL  Your Next Stamp is hosting a challenge to make a sparkling creation.  I could not help to to make my Sugar Cone sparkle!  Let's just say it has a lot of sparkling sprinkles on it.  :-)  There is so much versatility with this image and sentiment.  But that's not all the sparkling stuff that Karen is offering up at the YNS Store.  Take a peek here for a little bit of sparkle or here for a lot of sparkle.  Karen has so much to offer in the store so make sure you check it out.  The challenge will run from TODAY, March 16 through MIDNIGHT (EST) March 29th.  So you have plenty of time to join in on the fun.  Can't wait to see your creations.

Paper Sundaes Challenge

Hi everyone.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I finally had a chance to participate in this weeks Paper Sundaes challenge.  This week the ladies are asking us to keep it simple.  That's my favorite type of card.  LOL  I used my Kenny K Skate Girl image and colored her up with my Copic makers (E11, E15, E27, E33, E37, E47, B00, B02, B04, Y04, Y13, R22, C01, C03).  I made the sidewalk with my C05, C03 and my black liner. The sky is done with SU Soft Sky and a sponge.  I had
such a fun time coloring this image.

Your Next Stamp Challenge #37 - It's all about the blue baby!!

Boy have I got a treat for you today.  First, let me tell you that I'm excited to say I'm one of the newest member of the Your Next Stamp Design Team.  Woo hoo!!  It's an awesome privilege to have the opportunity to design for Karen.  Karen and I have had previous conversations about my chance to design for her and I'm finally doing it.  Thanks so much Karen.
