Second Posting - KKKG #51

I'm back for a second challenge today.  I just had to play along in the Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenge.  The challenge was to use red, white and blue.  I had the biker image from Kenny K for a while and had not colored in the clothing.  Well today my biker is roaming the street of Georgia celebrating his independence.  With the 4th of July just around the corner, it's a great time to say thank you to our troops for keeping us free.  So ride on fella and enjoy your independence.

Purple Gems

Good morning!!  I'm up bright and early for some crazy reason today.  I decided to go ahead and start the day doing some challenges.  Today's card is for several challenges:

Congrats to Claudia this week for being the featured stamper.  Super amazing gallery.  For the other challenges you had to use purple, bling and something old or something new.  Well I don't use purple enough so I wanted to participate this week at Paper Sundaes so I could pull out all my old paper and put it to good use.  This is a newer image that I picked up from Meljean's Designs.  I think this little girl and her bear are just adorable.

I totally forgot to write down the Copic markers I used but I think I can remember from the top of my head:
Skin: E02, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E25, E27, E47
Dress: V05, V06,V09 and hearts
Bear: E34, E31, E53, R20
Grass: YG03, YG23

B+W+1= Your Next Stamp Challenge.

Hey, hey, hey...it's challenge day!  Just had to put the Fat Albert voice out there today. (giggles)  Today YNS is rocking another challenge. It's the black and white plus one challenge.  Make a card using black and white plus one color of your choice.  I'm in such a super summer mood so I added the zest of some seriously bright green to my card. Plus it make a really good looking refreshing cocktail too.  LOL  Since I only had to color in the drink and the orange I don't have a huge Copic list for you.  I just used YG23 and YG25 for the drink and YR04 and YR09 for the orange.  Easy peasy!!

Now as always, there's something in it for you to win!! Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!  This shout out goes out to all the awesome fathers out there.  And to the ones that are not only a "father" but a "DAD" as well. :-)

To honor their dad, my kids and I made this card for him.  He's our "star" for sure.  This card also fits today's SCS Featured Stampers Challenge.  Congrats Tami.  Tami's gallery is amazing.  So many things I could of cas'd.  But we couldn't stop there.  We challenged ourselves to use the left over paper from this card to make two more.

 

Check these out!  I love using coordinating paper on cards that are going to the same person for the same occasion.  I think we pulled it off kiddie!!

Tiddy Inks #54

Super quick card today.  I just had to participate in this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge.  I very rarely do a one layer card.  To be honest, I can't tell you the last time I made one.  So of course, I had to challenge myself and get one done for the challenge. I love this Ugga Bugga Diva from Tiddly Inks.  She's so Bedrock!!  LOL.

Super Mojo with Girlie Green Doodles

YNS June Release

Hey, hey hey!!  It's release time baby. Your Next Stamp out with some more adorable stamps for the month of June.  My card is featuring the ever loving Jumbo Ginger Giraffe.  She's so cute!.  I stamped her twice and cut her out to pop her and some clouds up off of my background.  The reason I had to add the clouds is because I have a very large boo boo on the left corner of the image so I had to play it off with adding some clouds.  Got to love supplies in a stamp room to ward off mistakes. :-)

I had ordered Lime Twist Fly a Kite and Life of the Party paper along with divine twine (bakers string) from Karen and I am in LOVE with this paper and twine.  It's showing a little dark here but it's amazing. You have to add this your ever growing "collection" of paper and ribbon.  You will be sorry if you don't.  Ginger is stamped on X-press It Blending Cardstock.  My all time FAVORITE paper now for Copic coloring.  It's so smooth and really gives you time to play around with your colors.

Your Next Stamp Challenge #44

 Hey everyone.  Are you up for a challenge today?  Maureen has challenged us to make a card that is not square.  I so loved this challenge because I don't make a lot of cards that aren't a square.  Thanks Maureen for breaking me out of my box.  So on my shaped card I have Chomp all colored up and wishing you a super hello.  He is just the coolest caterpillar!  When you go on the YNS Store you can get a look at the ways some of us on the DT colored him up.  I just adore this bug!  LOL

Now make sure you enter the challenge so you can have a chance to win Rock Star Fhinn. Second Posting: Copic Creations Anniversary

Second posting for today.  I just happened to hop over to the Copic Creations blog and realize it was their second anniversary.  I just had to join in on the fun. I already had my Kenny K Super Mom image colored so I chose to just do her dress and apron in the distressed Copic ink look.  You can't really see the light shades of violet and red-violet that I used but it is there IFL.  As they always say....practice makes perfect. 

 Here are the colors I used:

They have a ton of candy to give away so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I might be the lucky winner of some of that candy.  Wish me luck!

Two Challenges

Awww....you came back for a visit!  Thanks for stopping by today.  This is how I feel today.  Not feeling well at all.  Had just enough umph to make it down to my stamp room to do SCS Clean and Simple and Try a New Technique challenges.  I really like making clean and simple cards.  I should do them more often.  I hardly ever decorate my envelopes but I could get used to this.  So cute that everything matches.  The image is from SU Ruff Day.  The bones are from a different stamp that I picked up somewhere along this stamping journey.

Hey everyone.  Had a chance to participate in today's SCS Featured Stampers challenge.  Taylor has an AMAZING gallery.  It was so hard for me to pick a card.  There were soooo many cards to case.  Congrats Taylor and enjoy your week.

I'm off to start my first COUPON BINDER.  Yep, I've gotten the coupon bug.  My co-workers have been doing it now for a month or so and each week we try to see who can save the most.  So much fun.  If you are interested in starting a coupon binder here's the link to Tipnut on how to get my coupon organizer started.

Hey everyone.  Really quick card today.  I'm not very happy with the way my SCS Sketch challenge card turned out but I wanted to play along today.  I swear that this card was a challenge for me to say the least.  Every time I cut my paper, I cut it the wrong way.  Boy, I had steam coming out of my ears.  Well, the drama is over and I'm getting out of my stamp room before I throw something.
