Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #27

Morning peeps.  Hope you had a great weekend.  Well it's Monday and the start of a new week of cards and creations.  LOL   Today it's challenge day over at Heart Song Inspiration and we challenge you to show off you holiday creations using red, green and white.  I know that you have these colors on hand during Christmas time so get to creating.  Today I used the O' Christmas Tree image.  I love this adorable image.  All the animals getting their tree ready for the presents that await.  So cute.  I added some Stickles in crystal to add a sparkly touch to my snow and branches.  Don't forget that Leah is having a DT Call as well.  We would love to see you join the team!

Happy Monday everyone.  It's time for another Heart Song Inspiration Challenge.  The challenge this week is to use gold and/or glitter on your card.  You can't really see it that great in my photo but I used gold glitter to make my dots on my card and also on my gold leaves.  For some darn reason I could not get a good shot of this card.  :-(  Well, I know that you will do better than me so let's see your gold/glitter cards this week.  Remember you have until Sunday  6pm (MST) to get your card loaded.  To check out all the details head on over to the Heart Song Inspirations blog.  Hope you join us this week.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #22

Happy Monday peeps.  Glad you stopped by for the HSI challenge today.  We are asking you to add some layers (3 or more) and/or some embossing to your creation this week.  I love adding layers to cards.  I think it makes them come alive in a sense.  I'm not a "flat" card girl.  The more layers the better.



I used the pansy frame from Heart Song Designs.  I love this frame because it fits small sentiments perfectly. So many options with this one.

HSIC #20

Good morning everyone.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend and I hope your week is starting off just as great.  Today is Monday and you know what we do on Monday....time for another Heart Song Inspirations Challenge.  The challenge this week is to use flowers or felt on your cards.  I have to admit that I don't keep alot of felt if any in my house.  I think I have maybe one red felt flower sitting around my stamproom somewhere.  So I used tons of flowers on my card instead.  They are in the paper, used as the embellishments and also on this adorable floral frame from HSD.  I colored the image with my Copics and Touch Twin markers.  I hope you like my card and play along with us this week.  Remember you have until 6pm SUNDAY Oct 20th to get your card linked up.  Have a wonderful week everyone and hope to see you back again later in the week.

HSIC Challenge #18

Good morning my pumpkins.  I hope you are waking up this morning to a wonderfully blessed morning.  I have to say, when I came out of church yesterday I was renewed.  And I'm going to carry that feeling with me throughout the day today.  I am blessed to know that I come for the King of Kings!!!  So I'm starting my day off with my HSI challenge giving praise to the one above.  I used Leah's adorable birdsong image for my vocal point along with the Verve sentiment. To add to the fun, I followed Jen's SFYTT layout.  I really like this sketch.  Works perfectly with my little birdie.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #17

Happy Monday everyone.  Glad to see you came back by.  Today's challenge at Heart Song Inspiration is to make a card using ribbon and/or tags.  Well I had this gorgeous brown silk ribbon just waiting to land itself on a card.  Since it already feels like fall outside I thought I would pair my ribbon with the autumn friend image from Heart Song Designs.  I love this adorable scene.  Don't know if you can tell or not but I have the pumpkin, sunflowers, bird and some of the leaves popped up on pop dots.  One of the flowers and the pumpkin are popped up twice while the other ones just once.  I think it gives this image more of a 3D effect. 

Okay, now that your creative juices flowing, let me see what you can create with ribbon and/or tags.  Make sure you link your creation up on the HSI blog.  You have until 6PM SUNDAY October 2nd.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #16

Oh, what a lovely Monday morning.  That's what I have to keep telling myself to get out of the bed. (smile)  It's a Monday for sure so you know what we do on Mondays....HSI challenge time!  This week we want to see you use orange or buttons on your cards.  Don't have any orange supplies, well how about throwing some buttons on your card instead?  I have a ton of both.....(such a wicked habit I have LOL).  I used the adorable fence friends image from Heart Song Designs.  I think you can dress this image up for a summer or fall scene.  I used my Copic airbrush system on this card.  Second time using it and I believe I'm hooked.  LOL  I can see me airbrushing the world over.  Help me now. ;-)  Please join in on the fun.  You have until 6PM September 25th to get your card linked up.    Have a great Monday everyone.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #15

Welcome back.  Glad you're starting your week off with me.  Yay!!  Since today is a Monday you know it's time for another Heart Song Inspiration Challenge.  This week we want to see you create something with either glitter and/or chipboard.  So pull out all those pretty bottles and pens with stunning glitter and let's get to crafting.  I must say I have a ton of unused chipboard that I just came across the other day.  That right there tells you that I have all kinds of stuff "hidden" from myself in my stamp room.  It's like a treasure hunt.  LOL  For my image I used the ever so adorable chick parade for my card.  Can't get enough of these little cuties.  I used some glitter pens on the flowers and leaves.  Not sure if you can really see it in the photo.  The silly circle and smaller circle are chipboard pieces.

Anything Goes HSIC #13

Happy Monday.  It's time for another challenge at Heart Songs Inspiration Blog.  This week you can do anything you want or use your favorite color.  I love these kinds of challenges because it's creates a buffet bar of amazing cards.  I pulled out some old paper, my MS punch and some flowers to spice up my card.  I'm using the adorable Asian Doll for my inspiration today.

Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #12

Morning peeps.  Hope your ready for a fabulous week.  I'm in need of a fabulous week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Since it's Monday, you know it's Heart Song Inspiration Challenge time.  This week's challenge is to create a card that is shabby chic or add pearls to your card.  My brain stuttered on what a shabby chic card would look like.  So here's what I came up with.  Not sure if' it's shabby chic but I did use pearls.  LOL  I used the new release owl on a branch as my image today.  I hope you like.

Heart Song Inspiration New Addition

Good morning everyone. Thanks for stopping by today to share in some awesome news with us.  Today's HSI challenge was to create a card with an animal as your image and/or do paper pleating.  Well I totally stink at paper pleating so I didn't want to ruin a great card.  LOL  The image here is called chick parade  and it's definitely one of my favorite images from Heart Song Designs.  Now you're probably wondering why I have the word baby in the blocks.  Well, Leah (owner of HSD) has added an addition to her family.  Leah is on her way back home from Ethiopia with her baby boy Makaio.  I am so excited for her.  So the ladies got to thinking and we thought our cards for this week's challenge should be used to honor Leah and her family.  I hope you love our cards Leah just has much as we love you.  Your little bundle of joy already has his "extended" family in place.  Super duper hugs to you.

Heart Song Inspiration

Monrin', morni' peeps.  Does your neighborhood seem a little quiet theses days?  Well mine is because the little kiddos have headed back to school. The only thing you see around here in the morning are all the school buses.  Man, what happened to summer? 

Well this week's challenge at HSI blog is to make a card or creation with a back to school theme or add some circles to your card.  I'm manged to do both with the new release apple image.  Now I don't know what kids do these days but I remember at some point in school the kids giving apples to their teachers.  Did I just age myself?!?!?  Anyhow, I found this adorable paper at Claudia and Company in a sample back from October Afternoon Detour.  Worked perfect for my apple card.

Monochamatic Tones - Heart Song Inspirations

Good morning everyone.  Glad you had a chance to stop by today.  Over on the Heart Song Inspiration Blog we are showcasing our cards in monochromatic colors and or the usage of brads.  Yep, one color all in the same hues.  Really had me stepping out on a limb with this one.  I used the ever so adorable Asian Doll.  She's such a cuttie.  I even added some brads as the centers of my flowers.

DT Announcement - Heart Song Designs

Good morning friends.  I have a huge announcement to make.  I was selected to be a part of the amazing team at Heart Song Designs. YAY!!!  I'm super excited to be working with all the talented ladies on this team. 

With that being said I'm showing you my very first card as a member of the team.  Today's challenge on the Heart Song Inspiration Blog is  "anything goes".  The image I used is called bird song.  This little birdie is singing a sweet song today.  The image was great to use with my little birdie paper.  For the life of me I can't remember who makes this paper.  I'm having a severe brain dump.  Anyway, I colored my image with Copic markers (E49, E25, BG72, YG23, YG93, YG95 and R24).
