Patriotic Love

Hey peeps.  Thought I would get a card in before I went to bed.  Since the fourth of July is next week I thought I would start off my patriotic cards now.  This card is being entered into the Cute Card Thursday challenge and the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge.  I had this image from Mo's Digital Pencil colored up for some time.  Love when a card comes together quickly.

Well I'm off to catch some zzzz's.  Sleep well everyone and see ya back here soon.

PTT Challenge #74

Happy Tuesday peeps. Time for another Party Time Tuesdays challenge.  This one is simple...it's an anything goes challenge.  You know we love those.  Get all your stuff out for this one.  The image I'm using is from Sassy Studio Design called Little Honey's Little Mermaid.  She's too precious!  Of course I colored her with my Copic markers.  I don't know if you can tell of not but the blue background paper has glitter flourishes all over it.  The paper and the dew drops are from this month's sponsor The Robins Nest

The layout for my card is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.  Adorable layout if I say so myself.  Won't you join us for our AG challenge.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Color Me Creative Challenge #46

Hey peeps.  How are you this Saturday morning?  I hope you had a fabulous week and your enjoying your weekend.  Today's card for the Color Me Creative challenge is brought to you by Crafts and Me.  If you have never visited their site boy you are missing out.  Such an array of images to color.  The challenge at CMC is to color up some "big" hair.  This image called Moon Glow was perfect.  It really gives you a chance to use your Copics to get some practice on coloring hair.  Remember, you can learn cool ways to color hair with one of Suzanne's Copic classes.  Just saying! :-)

Anyway, let's see your big hair cards.  Keep your cards flowing in for this challenge so I can pick up some tips from all the creativity that we have out there.  You have until July 6th to get your image loaded.  Can't wait to see your next card.

Tiddly Inks Challenge #89

Hello my favorite peeps!!  How are you this lovely Wednesday?  I'm in my stamp room creating a card for this weeks Tiddly Inks Challenge.  I LOVE (in shouting caps) these images.  This adorable girl is named Poppy.  She was the perfect image to use for this week's challenge.  The layout for my card is from this week's Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge.  I haven't had the chance to play a sketch challenge in awhile so I'm happy that I did today.

Here's a closeup for you.  Isn't she cute?!?!  Now for a little bit of info on the ribbon.  Does it look familiar to any of you?  Think about where you might shop for your panties and bras.  LOL...yep it's the ribbon from a Victoria Secrets bag.  I just could not throw it out.  It's the hottest pink color ribbon that I own.  So the next time you purchase your "danties" from VS know that you are getting some "free" ribbon for your stash.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge - Color Inspiration

Morning, morning peeps.  I can't believe an entire week has gone by and I have not had a chance to get into my stamp room.  I'm back to work full-time and boy does it cut into my stamping time. ;-)  Today there's another challenge going on at Party Time Tuesdays.  This one is to get your color on!  Look at these gorgeous colors of orange.  Simply beautiful.  Make me want to go hang out on the beach to see the sunset or sunrise.  Either one would be gorgeous.

With that being said, here is my take on the colors that are being used this week.  This adorable image is from Crafty Sentiments named Springtime Kaye.  She's just too cute with those little pig tails and overalls.  I colored up with my Copic markers.  The print paper and dew drops came from our monthly sponsor The Robins Nest.  The stripe paper I already had in my stash.  I think it looks great together.

Here's a closeup of my colored image.  So what cha think?  She's too adorable right?  Okay, let's see your take on this week's colors inspiration.  Remember you have until next Monday to get your cards up and loaded on the Party Time Tuesdays blog.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge

Hey peeps.  Hope all of you are doing good today.  Me, I could use more sleep. ;-)  Anyway, it's time for another Party Time Tuesdays challenge.  This week's challenge is to use all things mechanical.  You know for the guys this weekend.  They truly are the mechanics in our lives.  My husband does all the services needed on our vehicles.  Don't know what I would do without him.  I know....I would pay an arm and a leg to get our cars repaired.

The adorable image on my card is from The Stamping Boutique and he's called AJ the race car driver.  Super cute speeding his way through life.  Hope he doesn't get a ticket.  LOL...I know that's a little corny. :-)  Our sponsor for the entire month of June is The Robin's Nest.  You have to swing by the store.  There are tons of cool designer paper and embellishments to choose from.

Thanks for visiting today.  Make sure to tell all the wonderful Dad's in your lives....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

Baby Got Back!!

Hey peeps.  Interesting post title today.  LOL  I'm in one of those moods today.  Really wish I could go back to being a little one with no worries, no bills, no car notes, mortgages, etc.  You get the picture.  Well really this card is for the Color Me Creative Challenge.  We would like for you to show us your baby themed cards.  This down right adorable image is named Diaper Bear from I Brake For Stamps which happens to be our sponsor for the week.  I think that diaper is gonna BLOW!!  The sentiment I printed out from my computer.

I have big plans for this card.  Can't wait to give it to my coworker who is having a baby girl.  Yep, precious.  Really hope you play along with us for this baby inspired challenge.  Break out those Copic markers or other alcohol markers and get to creating.  Remember you have until June 22nd to have your card loaded onto the CMC page.

Party Time Tuesdays with Tiddly Inks

Hey peeps.  Do I have a sweet card for you.  Today's challenge at Party Time Tuesdays is to give your project the "royal treatment" in honor for the Queen's birthday.  So I was thrilled when I received an image from one of my favorite places to shop...Tiddly Inks.  This image Wryn's fairy Friends is one of my favs.  I took the fairy sentiments and cut of the top part since it wouldn't fit on my card. (grrr).

Anyway, Wryn is has the royal treatment down.  She has pearls surrounding her floral "crown" and the little mushroom top is all glittered up.  I added the gems down the side of the card too.  Her wings have a little bit of sparkle as does the background paper.

Hope you have enjoyed my little card today.  Make sure you join in on the fun this week.

Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek

Hey peeps.  Well it's day two of the Your Next Stamp sneak peek.  And this adorable little bunny is called Funny Bunny.  He is one of the new releases for this month at Your Next Stamp.  I think he is adorable rolling around in laughter on the ground.   This image comes with two sentiments for your stamping pleasure.

To showcase this adorable fella, I used the sketch from iSpy Sketches.  I'm so glad that I had the chance to participate along with the ladies over there.  Super talented and super fun.

Make sure to mark your calendars for June 5th as we will be having a release party and blog hop at Splitcoaststampers starting at 8pm.  You don't want to miss out on the fun and prizes!

SCS Featured Stamper

Hey peeps.  So glad you are here today.  Did you like my little storage tip for your Spellbinder dies?  There is always more to learn when it comes to storage in your craft space.

Today I'm in my stamp room creating cards for upcoming challenges and release but I had a chance to swing by Splitcoaststampers and join in on the Featured Stampers challenge.  A big congrats to Rita for being chosen this week.  Her gallery is wonderful so check it out.

For my card today I used the trio balloon and grass dies from Your Next Stamp.  I love these adorable dies.  So many possibilities for birthday cards, thank you cards and the list goes on and on.  The only stamping I did was the sentiment and the clouds.  Can you believe I didn't even break out a Copic for this card?  YIKES!!  But I must admit it was nice to just go back to the basics.  The cloud paper is from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly a Kite pack and the balloons where cut from Stampin Up Petals and Paisleys paper pack.

Well hope you enjoyed your visit today.  Come back tomorrow for a sneak peak of a stampset from Your Next Stamp.

Spellbinders Storage Option

Hey peeps.  No card for today but a little bit about how I store my Spellbinders dies.  At first I kept them all in their original packaging and stored them in a box.  Then that became too much of a hassle to dig to get the one I wanted.  I searched the internet and a lot of people where keeping them in the CD holders.  I had mine that way for awhile but then out grow them.  So, I purchased these magnetic binders from Michaels (I can't remember who makes them) and stored them in my bookcase.  But everytime I needed one I had to search through each one.  It finally dawned on me this morning to cut out the smallest die in each set that was included in the binder and place them down the front spine of the binder.  To secure them I used packing tape.  Viola exactly what I needed.  Now all I do is select the binder I need and head to the cutting section in my stamp room.

Hope you enjoyed my little tip for today.  Have a fabulous Saturday.

Hugs and love~
