Knock Out Cancer

Hey peeps.  I'm back with another card.  Since this month is breast cancer awareness month I wanted to make a card for a co-worker of mine who's wonderful mother is battling this terrible disease.  I think this card will brighten her day just a little.  This is her second go around with cancer and I'm sure she's going to KNOCK IT OUT one more time.

I'm also entering my card into the Sweet Sunday Sketch.  Pefrect layout for my Whimsie Doodle image named Hope.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Witch's Brew

Hey peeps.  How's everyone doing this happy HUMP day?!?  I'm back with another card.  First I'm so excited because I won last weeks challenge over to Krafin' Kimmie!!  Can't stop smiling over that one.  So in honor of that win I'm joining in again along with a few other challenges.  I love this Agnes image from Kraftin' Kimmie.  I turned her usually mild manner look into a spooky witch stirring up her brew.  LOL  I got the fabulous color combo from Wendy.  She is one of the best Copic genius's out there.  Hugs to you Wendy.

This image worked perfect for the two additional challenges I'm joining in on this week.  Adding my card to the following challenges:

The Sweetest Thing - sketch challenge
Ribbon Carousel - Halloween Spirit

Thanks for stopping by today.  See ya back here soon.

Sketch Challenge at Meljen's Designs

Back with another card!!  Trying to get caught up on making more holiday cards.  I'm a tad bit behind to say the least.  So today I thought I would purchase this colored image called Christmas Cocoa from Meljen's Design and fussy cut it with my Cameo Silhouette.  I'm participating in the challenge over at Meljen's Designs so I just followed the sketch they had for this week's challenge.

I added a little bit of depth to my card by coloring in the image a little bit more with my Copic markers.  Super easy and quick card.  I printed out six of these images so I'll be speed making some of my holiday cards.

Gotta run!  More cards to make. :-)

CMC Challenge - With a Touch of RED

Hey peeps.  So glad you have stopped by today.  The DT for Color Me Creative are showcasing our cards for the new challenge - With a Touch of RED.  We want to see you add some red into your card creations.  I chose Witchy Wyrn image from Tiddly Inks (which just happens to be our sponsor for the challenge).  In the midst of my excitement of doing a great job on her hair color (I don't do many "red heads" so I'm thrilled with this one), I totally forgot about adding more red to my card until I was done coloring her.  LOL  That's how it goes sometimes.  If you haven't taken Suzanne's hair class over at CMC, you are totally missing out.  She walks you through the steps you need to know in order to get stunning results when coloring hair.  It's a MUST take class.

Hope you join in on the fun for this challenge.  Let me see you get your RED on!!  Challenge ends Oct 26th!

Hugs and love!

Kraftin' Kimmie Skulltastic Challenge

Hey peeps.  Got a card for you.  I had a chance to participate in the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge - SKULL-tastic.  For this change we had to use a skull on our project.  Well I've had this image colored up since last year and matched with paper.  As you all know, I do that ALOT.  Anywho...she was perfect for this my card.

I colored her with my Copic markers of course and the desinger paper is from Martha Stewart's Holidays Mat pad.  Grabbed some Bazzill scrap paper, my MS spider web punch, some ribbon and button and BAM she was done!!

Thanks again for swinging by.  Love to hear your comments on my card.

The Witchin' Hour

Hey peeps.  Hope everyone is having a great day.  Took some time out from watching the football games (Go Giants) to run into my stamp room and hammer out a card.  Today's Halloween inspired card is using the adorable Tiddly Inks Image Wryn the Witch.  Oh she's too cute!!  I colored her up with my Copic markers.  Finally figured out the trick to get my "white border" around my images.  I use my Silhouette Cameo to trace and offset the image so I can get the perfect white border now.  Yay....I'm a happy girl.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Fall
Crazy 4 Challenges - Halloween
Splitcoaststampers - Featured Stamper  (Lynn Put)

Well thanks for swinging by today.  Back to the games!!  Don't really care who wins now.  The Giants have already handled their business for today.  LOL

Hey peeps.  How are you this fabulous Saturday?  I'm doing awesome, thanks for asking.  LOL  Now down to business.  The DT at Your Next Stamp are "sneak peaking" a few of the soon to be released October images.  ACK....they are too CUTE!!  This one is called Christmas Bauble.  Don't cha just love this adorable little birdie perched on his holiday ornament?  When I say you are going to love this release....trust me you are!!  I colored up my birdie with R08, R17 and R27 Copic markers.  I used Basic Grey Nordic Holiday paper pack for his hat and the ornament.  I think he came out pretty sweet. :-)

I would love to hear what you think about my sneak peak.  Make sure you swing by the Your Next Stamp blog and check out all the other fantastic cards and creations.

Fun Friday with YNS

Morning peeps.  Do I have a treat for you today.  Over at Your Next Stamp we are having some Fun Friday tips and tricks for you.  This Friday we are getting in the mood for what some folks don't like...WINTER and all it's snow. But for me, I really miss it.  Living in Georgia the chance of a really great snowfall is...ZERO. :-(

Anyway I have become a Pinterest junkie.  There are so many ideas out there for decorating your table for the holidays so I thought I would make these place card setting for the ladies that will be over for a wine and dine.  Big emphasis on the WINE.  LOL  I love how these came out.  The "stand" is actually a large binder clip that is covered with decorative paper.  I stamped the Snowflake Border (which just happens to be on sale - so hurry and get one) :-)  to make my border.   I totally hate my handwriting but I'm sure the ladies won't mind after a few glasses of wine.  ;-)

Thanks for swinging by my blog today.  Make sure you head on over to the YNS blog and the YNS forum on Splitcoaststampers to see all the DT creations.

Hugs and love~
